Destiny 2 is force downloading on PS4s now. Not the game, but an ad to entice people to buy the game
What kind of unholy shit is Bungie/Activision even trying to do!? So if you did not buy the game, an ad is automatically downloaded on PS4s enticing people to buy it. The game will then entice you to buy the DLC.

5 Repliesthis is a sony feature and its been an option in the ps4 settings for years. Of course Bungie/Activision paid Sony to put it there... but you can't turn the tables that if the feature is available... of course a marketing team would at least be interested. PSA. you can turn it off.

8 RepliesI'm probably going to catch a lot of flak for this, but of all of the things you could jump on Bungie for doing this seems like the least bothersome. You wanna talk lack of endgame? Let's talk lack of endgame. You want to talk about game design? Let's talk about game design. You want to shout that microtransactions are the worst thing ever? Let's rap. But this just doesn't bother me. We live in an age where advertisers are trying to force a new thing on to you every single time you open your eyes, this is nothing to me. If it bothers you, raise heck, but I just can't find a reason to raise a ruckus over this, especially when it's entirely optional to buy the game.

Get a grip of yourself!

Its Sony lets be honest. D2 playerbase is mostly on PS4, stats say so. So with Sony as the "flagship" for D2 of course they would advertise like mad. Little do they know the game is on fire. I think it would be smarter to advertise FFXIV. Best MMO by far on console and even PC. Still telling Xbox players to hound on Microsoft to just accept Yoshi-P's agreement for no exclusivity deals and have to play with both PS4 and PC. Oh and also not have them allow their launcher on console.
