#Remove Eververse: Activision Blizzard has $17.452 billion in total assets.
Many of you have your heart in the right place and believe these multi million dollar companies need to add new revenue streams to survive modern game development, but the numbers just don't fit that narrative.
Let's look at some numbers shall we?
Destiny 2's publisher's (Activision) total assets are worth $17.452 billion.

4 RepliesLook guys. Unless everyone stops playing destiny and actually stops buying items from Ev store, they will keep doing what there doing. Bungie just released a statement today and they basicall ignored the fact alltogether about Ev and offset it to how we need more vault space and how they added ghosts and sparrows to faction rallies and Iron banner. Further diluting the loot pool. WE DONT NEED MORE SPARROWS AND GHOSTS. We need to organize a dry day were not one single person logs on to destiny for a day to show them how serious we are. Then for a week or a month if need be. That is the only way they will take us serious if we actually STOP playong the game. Otherwise were just a bunch of whiney children they keep apologizing too, but really show no change. They have issued 3 appologies so far with no real solution to the problem. There solution was the dawning. Shows how serious they take is. I love destiny. Between D1 and D2 across both my accounts i have 4000 hours played. We need or organize days where the majority of the playerbase does not sighn on in order to show them how serious we are or we will just get another soology and itll get swept under the rug. Destiny is meant to be a 10 year game NOT a 10 year BETA. Lets make it great again -Mentor

Looks like this will change soon. Whether publishers will do it on their own or the gov will force it on them is uncertain. Hopefully the first option.

5 RepliesIf you really think they give a shit, you're deluded. You've been hoodwinked, hell, all of us have. This new IP, it's not new, it's Destiny 1, reskinned. We were ALL fooled. The people you see in the tower, racking up all the Eververse crap, they're the root of the problem. The people who are dumb enough to sink the money into this game via a cash grab. The same -blam!-ers who throw money at the screen. About throwing money at the screen; they told us up front that they were going to do it. Sure, they left out a few details, but we all fell for it. They aren't going to change a mother -blam!-ing thing. Why should they? We already bent over for then, and there are far too many people still begging for more. You think boycotting the game will fix it? Wrong. They don't need you to buy any more DLC. Hell, you not playing saves them money. All in all, it's not the worst game ever made, albeit, the most disappointing. Yes, Bungie, did you see that? You made the most disappointing game ever. It will be your last. I will never buy another product that you or Activision or EA sell. I'll be looking to support some indie studios moving forward. In closing, -blam!- you Bungie, -blam!- you very much. 4 RepliesI've been joining groups on lfg since thursday. Nobody's even aware of this quest the forum dwellers are on. Not a one. Most of them are spending on eververse. Some are showing restraint and waiting till later in the dawning to see what they get before spending. People make fun of destiny 2's daily numbers but tell me, how many people frequent these forums? 2000? Three? Drop in the bucket...nobody cares.

Or better yet they just need to throw all eververse items into boss loot pools. get rid of rng and just have a set silver price for eververse items buying would be optional as you could farm it all

The issues not in game currency imo, its the FACT, that there not selling items...there selling you the “chance” to get said item. And the despicable fact is, that they control the drops, its not even rng anymore. They set an item at 0.00001 and watch the money roll in, if it was say, 400 silver for a specific item, we would win, and they would make money. Ill take my money to the casino if thats the case, at least i get a free drink.

Honestly, it’s just too expensive. Maybe paying .40 cents would feel more reasonable. For 10 bucks I should be able to unlock every emote and shit.

I would be fine with eververse if it wasn’t rng. if I was able to pick which item I wanted . Spending $10 if I really like what I saw wouldn’t be a big deal to me I’m fine with a few cosmetic items for sale . But it’s bull that you can spend $50+ and not get the item you wanted.

Bungie and Activision are both a joke. At the beginning of D2 me and my friends said F(&$ it let’s buy some silver, bought it, i never got my silver, I tried contacting bungie and nothing so I filled out the cute missing silver thing you can fill out actually I filled out around 5 because I never got a single email or anything about my missing silver, to this day I have not gotten a response, nothing on Twitter by Mr cozmo or Mr Deej or Bungie help ! But thank God for Microsoft for getting me my money back ! And now this dawning BS ! The fact that you only get one actual engram per account for talking to Everest for the first time and then your other characters get shaders is complete joke. Just pushing and pushing for ppl to waste money on silver ! Screw that I made that mistake before and I never even got my silver and you clowns did nothing about it. You guys are lucky I even spent my money on the actual game Everest should be taken out ! Or atleast silver itself should be removed and make it easier to get silver dust,which you use to be able to scrap weapon ornaments and get the dust but now you can’t ! Which is again bungie doing shady $#i+ in he background that not a lot of ppl notice and it’s the shady $#i+ like this that keeps more and more ppl away from this pathetic excuse for a sequel of a game !

I started playing back in D1 Launch and I’m still playing to this day I don’t like to spend money on evervese so I don’t and I do like to play so I do and guess what, I get eververse drops from playing [b]not paying[/b]. Kids [b]cant[/b] just buy stuff without credit cards or gift cards, so kids either lie, or the parents allow it. And people earning their own money who buy silver know they are paying into something random. And some people like to spend that dollar on the bling without grinding XP no matter how easy it is to grind and some people will grind for free stuff no matter how brutal the grind. They need to use that money to make more strikes, bigger areas and stuff to do in those areas, or a horde mode where they can continue to add maps and boss fights.
