Exploiters of glitches should be punished
I'm most likely going to get shitted on in the forums because this "ruins the game" for the people who uses this shit but I couldn't care less about those idiots. Everytime this game gets a update, some person finds a exploit or glitch and goes "hey I should use this all the time and tell other people how to do it to, won't that be fun."
Next thing we know a youtuber posts on how to do this exploit or glitch so alot more people use it and the developer won't take care of it until later. Look I do acknowledge that where this exploit or glitch is happening I should avoid it until it get patched, unless its the only place where a activity is somewhat bearable and fun.
The new "Infinite novabomb" is bloody horrendous, I can't get a game in the crucible without 4-5 out of 8 people just abuse this shit to the point it either doesnt give me time to react or crashes my ps4 due to the effects of the mass novabombs on my screen. people who use this shit should be punished (which probably won't happen since every kid on here uses this shit) I'm not going to respond to this post just to respond to others but I'll read the comments to see your honest opinions.

If you hack the game/break into the code/someway modify the game/interupt someone else's connection to lag them out, etc. then yes those people should be punished, but no one should ever be punished for using the game as it is programmed. No one should ever be banned because they're using the game in a way the designers didn't foresee or intend. You can't release broken code and punish those who use it. Also, I don't know how to trigger this glitch but if I accidentally did trigger it, would I be punished too? How can you distinguish between people who accidentally triggered this glitch and those who are intentionally triggering it? Yes, most people who are doing this are intentionally doing it, but you'd also be unfairly punishing anyone who accidentally did the glitch and therefore punishing innocent players for playing their broken game. Does it suck? Yes. Should players be punished? No.

Just like how they did nothing about all the people cheesing the raid. It doesn't matter if the glitch is their fault. People abusing glitches should be punished, either with a ban or with their rewards being taken away from them.

2 RepliesThis is a glitch, so its Bungie’s fault its in the game. That makes it that players cant be banned for it. They only ban you if you manipulate something in your favor. Like connection in crucible. Altho i still find it strange that no one was banned during Crota with the infinite kneeling for what most people pulled there cable out of the console.

I agree with you man. What I love the most is that the same PVPers that were making the most crybaby, butthurt posts about the Prometheus Lens and how bungie had to fix it immediately, and its time to kill is ridiculous. Are the ones now saying, " its a glitch that is coded in the game so shutup and use it" which is what everyone was telling them about the Prometheus lens. Stupid hypocrites....Wonder what the ttk is on nova bomb spams? hmm...

I just now experienced the chaos of the infinite nova bomb. Some dude just standing in a spot throwing them repeatedly. It’s just ridiculous people use this kinda stuff and ruin the game for people who just wanna play.

1 ReplyNah. This is a game feature that wasn't fully caught by the dev, not an exploit or cheat. I'm sure Bungie will nerf the crap out of it soon. Let the Warlocks have their fun until then.

6 RepliesI think there is a discernible difference between a broken gun that is available to everyone that changes the shape of crucible for a weekend and an intentional exploit of mechanics that ruins the fun for everyone not playing Warlock (or with any decency). Mayhem was already crazy but in a fun way that actually made crucible exciting for a change. Why people feel the need to break it and justify it as "ITZ BUNGOS FAULT" shows a massive lack of maturity. Bungie need to fix this now and punish exploiters.

3 RepliesIt usually isn't all that long before people are caught out. However, if you're talking about the recent Nova Bomb glitch, that isn't the players fault, rather Bungie's lack of QA.

7 RepliesBungie has said they will not punish anyone who uses the glitch, so either avoid crucible, or stop complaining, and I don't mean it in a rude way. Bungie acknowledged the glitch, said it can't be fixed yet, and won't punish people using it. That s the reality of the situation.
