Yo Bungie. Stop bringing back old exotics.
Yes we get it. Mida was popular, telesto was cool, hard light was kinda trash all the time, knucklehead radar was a classic, graviton forfeit was really good...
But we don't want to have to re earn it AGAIN.
Are you running out of ideas? Head on over to YOUR OWN CREATIONS PAGE WHERE SO MANY PEOPLE HAVE DESIGNED REALLY BADASS EXOTICS.
Also change the shader system. It's hot garbo.

I feel Bungie should hold a contest for fans to design new exotics to be in the game. I know Capcom does that with Monster Hunter and it's really cool. Also, I agree with the shader system. Consumable shaders suck!

I say this on every post I see about it, I agree about the new exotics, except for the jade rabbit, I think it was fine for them to bring it back because Xbox basically never got it untill d1 was basically Dead

I disagree. I want to see most of the exotics come back, at least the ones that could exist in this new game without breaking it. We'll never see Ice Breaker or Gjallahorn or The Last Word again, but I would love to see guns like Monte Carlo, Suros Regime, Hawkmoon, and even the class exotics like Fabian Strategy, Tlaloc, and Ace of Spades would be great. I think they could all fit into this new world quite nicely. I just don't want Bungie acting like they're doing us a favor and charging us for it. And I think regardless of whether we get them back or not, it doesn't excuse them from giving us new exotics as well and a lot of them.

1 ReplyOnly problem is that the old exotics are the best guns in the game. All the new exotic guns are crap by comparision to the old ones. How much fun are the new exotic grenade launchers? Yeah, fun for about 5 seconds while your holding the button down to disassemble them.

Boo. There are plenty of exotic guns and gear in my D1 vault I’d like to pull forward. Hell, there are even a few legendaries.

At least they made ward of dawn useful by bringing back Helm of Saint - 14 Also I'm basically 100% sure no one would complain if they brought back the OP exotics... (GHorn, Ice Breaker, etc...)

3 RepliesI agree given that we have already earned these exotics multiple times over the years and Bungie said they had to scrap them in order to move on to D2. I was not happy about that decision but accepted it. Now they are bringing some old D1 weapons back for us to earn again via RNG, smh. I would make an exception for an exotic Fatebringer with firefly (not that dragonfly crap).

Unless they are bringing back the Gjallahorn, Icebreaker, or Thorn. Nah, actually I'm fine with it as long as they add a NEW exotic for every old one they bring back.

I’d have no problem them bringing back exotics if they didn’t state in the build up to destiny 2, that the tower is gone, our vault destroyed all our stuff from d1 is no more! It was a large motive for this soft reboot. Now their just drop feeding it back in, and using it for marketing purposes. Mark my words gjallahorn will come back. Most likely when their player base has dwindled and/or they run out of content to make.

It's super annoying, here's a "new" game, with all the loot we took from you that you used to have from the old game so you can earn it again... Worst part is, they don't even look any different. Couldn't even modify them, literally the exact same models from D1. O, and they made them all worse than they were before...
