I will be following is Skillup's footsteps. This game has been the biggest disappointment I've experienced in a long time.
My biggest regret isn't that I purchased this game, it is that I served as an advocate for this game prior to its release. I encouraged all of my coworkers and friends to buy it, and they did. I even encouraged them to stick around for the DLC to come for it would improve on the game drastically, but that is clearly not the case.
I had to personally apologize to all of my friends and coworkers for the disappointment that is Destiny 2.
I've officially retired from Destiny 2. I will never purchase another product from Bungie nor will I be playing the next DLC (even though I've already purchased it). Bungie is clearly no longer the company they used to be and in my eyes, Activision Bungie is the same as EA Dice.

2 Replies@OP - Don't let the door hit you in the ass on the way out The new Raid lair is fantastic. That alone is worth $20 bucks. Same cry baby bullshit around here.

I agree with him. Bungie has gone all EA on Destiny. Such a shame :(
-
Same here.

I agree, this game wasn't made for me. Destiny 1 really upset me because I was expecting a halo reach type campaign to have some introduction/context to the world. However, coming on and playing and always making some progress by sometimes getting lucky and finding a legendary engram (like they were, very rare) a great feeling. Getting exotics was super rare in strikes and crucible as it should have remained. This games lacklustre weapons, absent incentive, no rarity/chase of RARE legendaries and exotics are just designed in a way that I'm not into and has no staying power for me. Thats me done. I enjoyed the base game for a good 100 hours or so but this is not a game I'm gonna hop in and out of like in year one, its a sad watered down version of the first game. SkillUp is dead on point, and if you are also feeling the final burn like most of the community due to unethical lies by bungie and the micro transaction design, use that intelligence I know you all have and leave this game behind. You never know, If we call it now and stop supporting D2 now, they may be forced to make Destiny 3 they way we all want.

Bungie just needs to stop and do damage control at this point instead of trying to shoe horn in new DLC. Its clear that they are on their heels and at this point, its one step forward, two steps back every time you hear of Destiny or Bungie in the news. Now we aren't getting the faction rally tomorrow which was content that we should be expecting and enjoying at this drought time where the player base is dwindling or all but gone. If I didn't buy the Collectors Edition on the good faith from Year 3 Destiny and already have the expansion pass, I would have moved on completely. Please Bungie, if you are reading this, delay the Rasputin DLC until you fix the underlying problems with the game because if we see another showing like the Curse of Osiris, you won't have a community left to support you.
-
When Sagira turned out to be a better character than Osiris himself, that's how I knew we have a problem . . . That right there is the nail in the f*cking coffin for me . . . I'm B E Y O N D pissed . . . (((d-_-b)))

Excellent video. I agree 100%.
-
Either way, it's a losing point to bring up. A good portion of the people here will just hate him by default because he's a Destiny tuber. And that immediately means he loses credibility for some reason. Although, several months ago, if he made a video about how great Destiny is and how much fun he's had (the videos he's done before) people here would just say he's a fanboy cocksucker.
-
I agree with everything he said in the video. I think ill reserve my opinion until the the patch goes live tomorrow. The only thing that I have any faith in is the destiny live team. They were everything in D1. So I will wait until they get their hands on it.

Screenshots have been taken so if I see you in DLC 2 or beyond...I'll PM you 😘

I wonder if you thought this thru. Let's see... Skillup is a content creator in dire financial straights. Said creator needs to (at the very least) keep his fan base watching his content. This very same creator gauges the wind direction of any given topic, makes minority opinion (albeit popular) video of a game that not 2 months ago this same creator said was brilliant and a good step in the right direction. Basically , you're entire opinion is based on someone else's idea of a popularity contest , made as a result of want for money and attention...so they could get views. Sheep man, sheep. This is why people under the age of 30 shouldn't vote...or drive...or make poopy without a diaper on ...or make any decision that effects anyone ....ever.

4 RepliesWhat’s with the drama on these forums? If you like the game, play it. If you don’t like the game, don’t play it.
-
The only review I liked from him was on Nier: Automata And, honestly, I value my own opinion more.

18 RepliesBye no one needs skill up to play a game I think it's stupid that people are leaving because a YouTuber said he is leaving and done with the game. I remember when games came out and bought them with out looking them up u look at the back of the box and said hey look this looks good I will buy it. Like really people.
-
Woah... Have a snikers, Satan.
-
It is one thing to announce you are leaving, but another thing entirely to say you are doing so “following” someone else. Why? Why do people need to follow and do everything some youtuber does? I really do not get it.
-
2 RepliesOk. So somebody keep count how many days skillup can go without Destiny content. Seems Bungie equals views. No matter if your a supporter, shill, or bully pulpit.
-
15 RepliesSee you at next DLC.

Already sold my copy

Most of us new about the Pokemon Copy paste stuff bungie was doing, yet i still play and I thought mercury was good. But eh, who am I.
-
14 RepliesCool. I will not. I can't disagree with much of what he said, but don't agree with how feels. I'm still having fun playing and will continue to until I don't. Eververse is not that big of an issue with me, however I agree 100% Heroic strikes should not be "pay" modes, nor should the MIghtfall behind a "pay wall" - they need to keep the old level cap NFs in for those that don't desire to purchase the DLC. Since I never "loved" Bungie in the first place, I'm not taking my disappointment in certain aspects of Destiny 2 so personally. While I hope they improve, if they don't and I get bored, I'll simply move on to something else. There will not be a "goodbye" post here on the forums; I'll just leave.
