The start of your first 2 points kinda also show why all the anger of the forums is a little ridiculous. It’s a video game. Imagine if people spent this much emotional energy on stuff that mattered.

I think that's mostly a result of people posting before they've had a chance to cool off. Granted, the forums would probably still be just as negative, but they'd be slightly more civil...and literate.
