    • What exactly is the point of your boycott? Bungie already know you don’t like the game and they have already told you they are working to make changes to it. So what exactly are you hoping to achieve with a boycott? It sounds to me like you’re having a temper tantrum because you want the game to change “right now”. Like making huge changes to the game is something that can be done overnight. Just flip the “endgame fixed” switch right? You people need to realise that any big changes to the game will likely be [b]many months[/b] away. Your boycott is silly and childish.

      • I canceled my PC pre-order as soon as that "what do I do now?" feeling crept in and made the game as hollow as bone.

      • As much as I would like this to go forward and make an impact, it won’t. half of the people complaining will do just that, complain then go back playing, others have the “its just a game” mentality, like what you have seen in some replies to this post of yours, and have no problem in paying and being rolled over, taken as mindless paying drones, This with D2 being just one example to the results of such mentalities, when communities don’t matter anything is good enough to be sold, it’s just a game after all. Back to the boycott, I support the idea, been doing it for two weeks now, but for Bungu to feel it, a few thousands dropping for a few days wont amount to anything, what is 5 or 6 or even 10K in a 1.500.000 players?, you would need a few hundred thousand to make them look at it and think, Also while the incoming PC players may not revitalize the game the numbers and work generated by the influx will probably be big enough to shadow whatever impact this boycott may bring, also it’s not the first time people tried this kind of approach with bungo and D1, did it matter? I think the state of the game answers that clearly, 3 years of running a game, 4 expansions didn’t teach them anything, they didn’t listen to the community then, they won’t listen to it now. Again, I wish to see this having the numbers to make an impact, but I can’t see it happening, I can’t imagine bungo seeing this as anything more than a tantrum, unfortunately as it may be. When this happens ill be playing warframe, buggy as hell, but at this point even the fishing sim that WF PoE became is better than Destiny 1.5… sorry mean Destiny 2 PS: its also just a matter of time before PC players start rising hell as well ANYWAY… sorry for the bad English, take care and have fun guardian

          • The good thing about freedom of speech, we can have differeing opinions and express them, but honestly, (in my opinion), if D1 was like D2, then D2 sales would have been awful, but then again, if D1 WAS as bad as D2 is, then our expectations would have been much lower, so they would have got away with serving up this bowl of shit.

            • Heres how it will go. A majority end up boycotting. Lets say 500K players Actually do not play the game for a day or two. Bungie will be a little freaked out but wont care. BUT, lets say they do care and release a statement saying they are shutting down Destiny 2 for 30 Days to revamp the game and fix major issues and so on. EVERYONE IN THE COMMUNITY WILL BE PISSED. And send even more hate to Bungie. Well, you wanted them to fix the game so in doing so they shut down the game for a month. Now this will unlikely ever happen but that is how it would go with this community.

                      I've been boycotting it for about 2 weeks already lol. -----This ended up a little disjointed, sorry-- It's just too boring to play, at least in Destiny 1 the PvP was fast paced and fun and there was always an interesting roll on something to hope for. Say what you want about it being an unbalanced mess, it was fun to play, Especially the Mayhem playlists. I got tired of this game after I got my 50th Origin Story that was exactly the same as the 49 before it, bored of the total lack of class options, bored of waiting 30 fcuking minutes on a matchmaking screen to match with 2 clan members who need a 3rd for the nightfall......seriously though, what is with this halfassed matchmaking? just make this glorified strike open matchmaking like nearly every other major co-op game. I DON'T NEED YOUR "PROTECTION" FROM A "BAD" EXPERIENCE BUNGIE. Waiting on a loading screen for many 10s of minutes for your arbitrary requirements IS A BAD EXPERIENCE, [b][i][u]ESPECIALLY[/u][/i][/b] because I know there are probably 10s of 1000s of solo players like me jyst staring at the fxukin screen waiting for 2 same clan member to match with.....JUST MATCH ME WITH THEM.....why is this a Forigen concept to you idiots? It's just outrageous and it's killing the game for me. I'd gladly run the nightfall all day and help people but because my clan is basically nonexistent now I Can't? Ridiculous Static rolls suck, the PvP sucks, the pve is short of replayable content and there's not much interesting loot,-- which is the main reason the pve content isn't that replayable imo. The strikes are interesting and fun but with no progression there's no point in playing the same 5 or 6 strikes over and over and over again. I knew this was going to happen when I saw how boring and lackluster the Beta was, but I bought it any way, I had a tiny sliver of hope left that you'd get your shit together but I knew deep down that you'd squander this opportunity for redemption like you've squandered so many previous chances. I've always had 1 of each class maxed out all through Y1 and Y2 and I started to in Y3 but got sidetracked by BF1 and other games and felt no real desire to play unless it was a Mayhem Clash/Rumble week (top 100 player...In the only mode where that's not really any great accomplishment because the mode is purely for the fun of it lol) That's how you keep people playing your game, create fun, easily accessible content. I could barely make it through that painfully cliche story the second time with the hunter on the Beta and I didn't even bother with the Warlock, I hated going through it again with the Titan in the full game, there is no way I'm going through it again on 2 seperate characters in this game because I can't take gear from my main and ascend the gear of my alts(Really terrible decision imo) And you made it exponentially more tedious to ascend weapons now that they have to be the same type of weapon not just the same slot. Instead you drown us in a sea of balanced mediocrity with no hope for playing our way because there's no options in the skill trees and there's absolutely no hope that that gun that jyst dropped may be a hidden gem because the fxuking rolls are all the same. Playing Diablo 3 and Borderlands 2 and WoW for a few weeks should be required for every developer you idiots employ because you clearly need a refresher on what makes a good, fun and replayable co-op loot driven game You guys ended up with a pretty good, solid game with Rise of Iron, but I'm just not sticking it out again for 3 years waiting for the game to be worthwhile.
