This Isn't Fun Anymore...
- Bring back game mode choice
- Bring back Mayhem
- Bring back Rumble
- Bring back 6v6 in some form of gamemode
- "Team Shotting" feels like the only way to win a gunfight, and its boring.
- Mercy Rule seems to be non-existent
Destiny isn't an MLG ESports type game. Stop trying to make it one. This isn't fun anymore.

I don’t see why they moved so far away from the way Destiny 1 was. In my opinion, it was so much better getting to choose your game mode and 6v6 was way more entertaining and fast paced. They should’ve just took what they had in Destiny 1 and moved it on to Destiny 2. They will most likely improve in the future in Destiny 2, but it still surprises me that they took out so many of the things that people enjoyed from Destiny 1.

Ah. There's your problem. You're playing PvP. I haven't touched it myself. Still having fun doing the PvE stuff. Still have a few missions/collectables to find. Still haven't done the raid. I have managed to get my 3rd full armor set though. Shame I didn't get the mark and the boots from NM before I hit my cap on tokens.

Pvp...meh. The tryhards get what they want; less magic and more pubstomps. Real players knew this new mode would not be fun for anyone. Less pvp bullshit plz.

158 RepliesFor the love of God just make Destiny the PvE RPG it was supposed to be. Add like 8 more planets. Make them 10x bigger. Throw world bosses and hundreds of Guardians into various realms. Let us run through tiers of strikes and raids as we level up. Give us back a grindable currency and weapon vendors and armor and crafting. Give us 100 quest story lines. Give us thousands of gear and weapon combos. And let us have some damn fun.

4 RepliesWe have ruined and sacrificed so much fun and replayability for the sake of fairness, balance, and “competitiveness” in pvp. I miss the chaos that was d1 pvp. It was fun. D2 pvp sucks. I don’t want a standard shooter pvp in this space magic game. If we want balanced pvp, we need set loadouts and no abilities. Then revert everything else back to the way it was in d1. Pve was much more fun before pvp problems and changes took over all the game mechanics.

2 RepliesNot a fan of the scoring. Eg: say if there was 559 team kills, I could get 59 kills and 500 assists and still get 100% efficiency. All this promotes is team-shooting and an AA reticule drag-fest.

Supremacy, supremacy, supremacy, supremacy, clash, supremacy, supremacy.... Clash matches ending with 15 points is also a clear indication that there is a problem with 4v4. This 4v4 is amazing in competitive, but a total fun killer in what was suposed to be a "for fun" mode aka quickplay. It makes absolutely no sense to not include a 6v6 mode...

A big problem is the respawn. No we have just 4 vs 4 but still get spawn killed way to often.

I thumbed up, but not because I dislike the 4v4 or more team oriented style of play. I think variety of game types (from rumble to doubles to 6v6 to 12v12 to slappers only at the tower), as well as the ability to choose what we want to play with separate playlists, were both common sense day 1 arrivals. Yet whoever is in charge of the pvp aspect of D2 thinks way way less (of something already lacking variety) was more? Really not sure 🤔 THIS IS THE TIME TO EXPERIMENT BUNGIE. DO IT! TRY MAKING NEW FUN GAMEMODES AND REINTRODUCING YOUR 1-50 RANKED PLAYLIST. Please! You have more active users today than you will next month, and it only gets smaller as time goes by.

Agreed. Team shooting is boring, tedious and frustrating. People leaving also ruins the match. 4v4 in competitive is fine, but in quick play it's getting old fast. The long TTK is also very frustrating in a lot of engagements. Snipers also need some love. Their the only heavy that you can't ape people with and they can't even break a shield with a body shot. D1 crucible was a hot mess but it was far more fun to play.

Thing that bothers me about 4v4 is the spawns. Nothing more annoying then respawning with the enemy in front of you. I assume they purposely have the spawns so close to everyone that way people get in engagements faster, but it's annoying. I don't mind taking a few extra seconds to find my enemy. On another note, the pvp is not solo friendly at all and team shotting is big, but as time has passed over the month I've learned to know when to turn the other way when I'm at the disadvantage. Of course I still have the bad games. But I've definitely adjusted a bit more as a solo player to the new pvp. Just give it more time. they do need a ranked system though where you can see your name climb up a leader board, and for each bracket you land in, you could earn an emblem or something, maybe even have a separate playlist for solo players as well that way you don't feel at disadvantage from teams. The amount of replay ability that would add to pvp would be huge. Cause right now I'm playing crucible, and I get to the point where sometimes I'll get sweaty, or someone will make me get into sweaty mode, and then I'm fatigued off the fact I just tried so hard, with nothing to show for it. Ranked is needed asap.

I do agree with everything you said but absolutely don’t care about most of it but “teamshoot only strategy “ I -blam!-ing can’t have fun in destiny anymore... I was addicted to D1 but now in D2 the pvp is so shit and anti-solo player that I can play the game without have a desire to break my controller over and over...
