Iron Banner will be Capped as well.
I am merely speculating but you know there will be an Engram Cap there.
What a joke. If there is no Cap, then this game is truly PvP focused.
Limit a PvE event but not a PvP one....
My thought are IB will be capped at 50 Matches and then no longer can acquire IB Gear.

Edited by zxionisus: 9/30/2017 3:33:42 AMI can only go two to three matches before getting the ol' Baboon Boot. Therefore, I have no worries since I'll never get to 50. (I didn't have network problems in D1, years 1 and 2. It started after Rise of Iron.)

You can get 30 engrams times 3 basically if you have all 3 characters.Multiply by 2 and you got 60 legendary pieces for each character. Thats 180 legendaries up for grabs doing NOTHING EXTRA and just grinding some easy damn coins that come from what your already doing. That is a absurd amount of loot to get for little actual effort. In D1 Y1 that would take about a month to get that much gear if not longer. Then you would have to grind the materials to level up that loot. The problem is it all being given out and it's too easy to get. Not that they capped the loot from an easy event. 60 pieces per character of free anyone can get with little effort legendary gear and everyone is complaining. If we can get that much gear from IB I'll be concerned because that gear is supposed to be rarer and harder to obtain. Shouldn't be a handout. You were restricted to either lucky drops or a couple of pieces total per event in D1 IB.

17 RepliesThe more I play this game, the more I'm getting pissed off with bungie trying to restrict what I do just to slow my progression down or restrict how I want to play and I'm guessing Iron Banner will be no different. They claim we will have lots of loot but stop us having it by capping everything. And now the cap on faction engrams has really ground my gears as how can I get a full set of armour when it gives me 4 of the same piece in a row. In fact I've probably changed around 15-20 engrams so far and only gotten 2 different pieces of armour. It's complete dogshit.

1 ReplyI'm just upset that trials doesn't have level advantages... like that's what made crucible harder, you had to find weapons and infuse them, not just get a lucky drop.

2 RepliesEven if cap is there and for 30 engrams, they should just rethink drop rate. Sure, some try hards will stay up 24hours straight to get it all, but for most players 3 days of little by little gameplay will be just enough to earn most, if not all 30. The only reason why it seems ridiculous now is because 1) Cheap methods of getting tokens 2) The length of event itself... Hopefully the drop rate and time frame will be adjusted next time, so all of you want cry about getting shaders after playing 24hrs straight or doing some silly glitch...

2 RepliesI don't know what this cap is everyone is taking about? I ranked up future war cult at least 60 + times and got everything. After 30 it stoped showing the engrams on the vendor but I could still cash in tokens for the engram
