I find myself loging on and just staying in orbit thinking of something to do. Idk why I definitely wasnt this bored so fast in the beginning of D1. The only thing that as keeping me entertained was the raid, it was extremely hard for me tbh, I probably went through at least 100 fireteams. When i finally beat calus i felt a sense of accomplishment then a huge sense of disappointment, i didnt get anything. I honestly dont feel like ever doing the raid again, i can just easily hit 305 by just doing the weekly milestones. I fee like the exotics are not as good as the d1 exotics, I remember wanting yo grind just to get my hands on a hawkmoon, ghorn, ice breaker, last word but with D2 i dont have that same drive. Maybe it's because i have most of the exotics idk. I definitely love the game and im sure well get more content.
Honestly, i wish they didnt take out lmgs i never see anyone using smgs except sometimes in pvp. I loved the thunderlord and corrective measure sigh*. I also hate how they brought back some bad exotics from d1 to d2 like lucky raspberry or whatever its called. If your gonna bring back exotics from d1 bring back the helm of saint 14, heart of praxic fire, hawkmoon, icebreaker, red death etc. its super disappointing to get an exotic thats not only from the last game but also wasnt really liked by the community.
Anyone know if they have fixed the legend of acrius token bug?

I always use an smg in pvp and pve

I'm fine honestly, just sick of reskinned shit. "Let's drop an event within the first month with the same shit available as rewards!" Bad idea. And whoever decided to make NM's winning weapon a sidearm.. wow. I'm glad that ain't Dead Orbit lol.
-
Im legit gonna delete a character and take it slow, there is no good content right now
-
Not at all. Looking forward to signing in after work and wasting a few hours. By comparison, by this time in D1's lifetime I'd already moved on to other games for the first of what would be numerous "breaks".
-
I'll play a few hours each week for the milestones, but that's about it.
-
exactly i love destiny with a passion but the problem is there's no grind its too easy to get everything once you hit a certain point none of the gear you earn matters its back to waiting for weekly's which we shouldn't be having to do after 3 weeks and yes someone always cries you play too much go outside but I'm sorry not everyone is a casual player and honestly you can hit 285-290 in about 3 days with no effort at all
-
I agree with you completely. I love this game though and I'm eagerly awaiting more content

D1 was way better. Little more of a grind but made it worth it when you got the exotics and raid gear. When you were higher light levels than other people you knew you worked for it and didn't just get exotics and legendary dropped everywhere like in D2. Pvp is a joke. I do like the 4v4 but not for every game mode. And the trials map and game are so dull. Boring

2 RepliesI was really bored during the beta. So glad I didn't buy the game. Nothing exciting about shooting two primaries 99% of the time in PVE.
-
I've played casually and it was boring after a week
-
1 ReplyThey messed up bad this time.
-
Im bored, but thats probably becuase I'm sitting in a work meeting and not playing D2 right now.
-
What made d1 fun was the fact that those exotics and raid legendary items were worth grinding raids/nightfalls over and over again. Getting Fatebringer and vex mythoclast felt like such an accomplishment

11 RepliesMaybe when the new dlc comes out you should cancel your twitch, stop looking at YouTube on how to get everything in 5 minutes by people that think there professionals, and just enjoy the game. With friends.

Kids in the comments are sad... Game doesn't have enough content and they say well did you run it blindfolded cause when you can't see you will really appreciate the music and gun sounds. Playing blindfolded is the true challenge and if you haven't done that then you really haven't finished the game.

16 RepliesIf only a new event was starting. I don't know....today?

go and explore bro. I'm sure there are still some secrets left.

Edited by Mr Bossypants: 9/26/2017 11:20:39 AMI'm so bored of Destiny 2 that by comparison, No Man's Sky is the most exciting game I've played in a while.

Not sure what it is with this game. For Destiny 1, I would be so excited to play the game and was a very active player. Couldn't wait to do new raids, get new exotics, etc... But for some reason, destiny 2 I have no desire to be active at all. Maybe it's me not having much time, player fatigue, or it could be something about the game that I can't quite pinpoint.

It's because there was always something to grind for or chase in D2. Bungie has killed the replay value by dumbing the game down so much. No more chasing weapon rolls. No more special attributes on raid weapons. No more special attributes on trials weapons. No more tier 12 setups. In D1, we had weapons like thorn, last word, hawkmoon, messenger, gally, etc...In D2, not so much...

I'm finding out how important little things like ghost hunting for grimoire and the record books were. Getting that 100% completion checkmark was a self gratification thing that made the grind worth it. Why do 100 strikes right now? Build up tokens to turn in to Zavala for rewards 10 levels lower than what I am right now? IDK something is missing. I love the gameplay, the visual upgrades, hell I even have enjoyed PVP which most people seem to loathe. It's just the FUN grind that was taken out that I miss. No reason this game shouldn't have released without a recordbook of some sort. While I do understand why Bungie didn't include grimoire (community bitching in D1) being able to see it on a personal level and a deeper understanding of the lore in-game would've been great. Oh well, I guess we will get all this in 2020 possibly.

1 ReplyMake a warlock

Seems many are, and they are surprised about it. Me too. I thought it would be more grindy and would have more content like strike specific gear.

1 ReplyI'm bored waiting on this damn download! Nothing no like waking up in the middle of the night . . . to do hours of grinding. . . Only to be able to play 20 minutes before a 10 hour shift.
