I am def getting discouraged by some of these reviews. Is sounding pretty bad lol. There seems to be so many bad things. Im not looking forward to speed running stuff either that alone has me considering canceling my preorder.

Unless your talking about the user reviews? Those are totally stacked with troll reviews. It already had dozens of zeros on the day it came out, before anyone had even had a chance to play it. There's no way it's a zero game even if you don't like it. But to give it a zero on the day it's released? Obvious trolling. Ignore those.

It's not pro reviews really just stuff i have been watching on YouTube and a lot of my friends who are PS4 players have already quit playing within a week and they were die hard Destiny 1 fans. I loved D1 despite the flaws it had in the beginning and when i heard 2 was coming to PC i pre ordered it instantly. Troll reviews lmao. Game is garbage compared to Destiny 1. Other than the story the game took a huge downgrade. PVP is terrible with this team shot meta, and the "grind" isn't there so there isn't really a reason too play unless Bungie adds new shit every week...

But why would you play it for PvP? It's a shooter looter game and there are plenty of other games with a focus on PvP

Why not. If you like the game theme wouldn't you want to play it. Sadly I'm not on great terms with PVP. My stats say otherwise, but I dislike PVP for many reasons. I see PVP as the end game stuff to do. You earn all the weapons and armor so that you can become powerful in PVP and excel.

It happens with every big game released these days good or bad. The user scores (for AAA games) on metacritic are always much lower than the critic scores because every release gets flooded by trolls who want to bring the scores down, just because they can. I notice you didn't respond to the 86% critic rating. I suppose you think they are all "paid" reviews right?

I don't believe in "paid" reviews. I do believe people truly like this game for whatever reason they have, but this game is terrible. They is absolutely no reason to grind in this game. It is boring, all the guns have a preset roll of them. The armor is just something to wear, and the raid only has 1 boss. The game is lame in my opinion. If you really like this game you are blind. Don't dick ride a game company. If they -blam!- up let them know they -blam!-ed up. People don't wanna waste their money on a game to become disappointed. Hopefully one day the game will be better.

That sounds very much to me like you are saying your opinion is right and everyone who has a different opinion is wrong. I don't have the same view of the game as you but I wouldn't call your opinion of it wrong. Opinions by definition can't be right or wrong. Also I never said the game was perfect. There is definitely room for improvement in the levelling/grind side of things. But overall I think the game is fantastic and many people agree. But again that's just my opinion.

Based on the destiny feedback forums their seems to be more complaining than praise from what I see.

Are you new around here? There is [b]ALWAYS[/b] more people complaining around here than not. People aren't happy on b.net unless they've got something to complain about. Leave the echo chamber of these forums though and you'll find a much more positive outlook of the game. Listen to some Destiny podcasts, read some reviews, watch some YouTube clips and you'll get a bit more perspective on how well the game has been received. It's not all positive sure but it's a hell of a lot more positive than you'd think if you only went by comments on these forums. B.net is a cesspool of salt and negativity.

No I ain't new around here. I've played since Destiny 1 beta. I'm pretty sure I understand the majority of the community. I could go into the game invite people into a party and ask they about their thoughts off the game 70% of people would respond the same way as me.

So you've done the maths and surveyed the entire playerbase to get their opinions? My experience has been the opposite. The vast majority of people I've spoken to who've played the game think it's great. But like your statement it means nothing because it's just a small sample. How do explain the 86% metacritic rating? If it truly was a bad game surely there would be at least [b]one[/b] bad review? But as it stands there still isn't a single negative critic review. I honestly think you need to open up your mind to broader opinions of the game because the b.net forums really aren't an accurate representation of the wider Destiny fanbase.

I find feedback from actual players of the game to be much more reliable than a person who plays it for a few days just to write a review... Pretty sure everyone who gets a new game thinks it's fun for the first week. Let the consumers be the one to decide if the game is good or hot garbage. If they want to complaint they go to forums where developers are supposed to look at the feedback and adjust the game accordingly.

I agree that the players give you a better idea of the quality of the game. That's why I said earlier to listen to some destiny "player" podcasts and video on YouTube. I would also add that the negativity on these forums is not an accurate representation of the majority of players. It's the complainers that often post on feedback forums not the people who like the game. The fans just play the game. The vast majority of players don't ever use this forum. So I wouldn't judge this game by the feedback on B.net.

I believe everyone likes this game too some degree even if they hate it. Like me I see a ton of potential for it to grow. Whether or not the developers want to evolve it is up to them. If you want something to change you protest. The destiny communities way of protesting is complaining on forums.
