Could you guys create a barbershop to change or further customize your guardian after character creation?
-
I bet they'll add it, but it will cost silver to unlock
-
I think it would be nice to change/update our appearance.
-
Just keep helmet on always. It's less depressing that way
-
This has been asked for since the beginning so many times with no answer in sight.
-
*bump*

I simply do not understand why the character creator is EXACTLY the same as D1! That creator was already very limited. A big disappointment for me at, literally, the first minute of game play.
-
2 RepliesYes on this. Race change too since Humans have the best dance by far. Exo got screwed.
-
Agree
-
I continued with my original character because I didn't know what impact it would have on the game. That being said I didn't get to change my characters look because of that lack of knowledge. It's not a deal breaker since I just try and keep my helmet on because of it. Just would have been nice.

Won't happen matey. Destiny is an online co-op shooter not an MMO. Plus bungie probably don't know how to do that.
-
My warlock badly needs her bangs trimmed. I'm all in.
-
1 ReplyCan't you just restart your character at the start of the game? Or do you lose something from doing that? Either way, it would still be nice for endgame players
-
Of course this should be a thing Knowing Bungie, if it were, they would just reopen the same tiny bit of variety that we had before
-
It's bungie. Don't expect much of them, and don't set your standards too high.
-
I remember people asking for this in D1, very disappointing that they didn't add it and mad no new option.
-
2 RepliesIt would be nice to see them add more vendors or something instead of just have a lot of empty space. I hope they don't just keep adding social spaces like they did in D1 and let the tower rot for 3 years. There was a lot of potential to open up new area's, and the only time that happened was 3 years later over by the speaker during the mission you get it actually go through the big doors.

3 RepliesBarbershop/Plastic Surgeon. This has been a common request since the start of D1, so I'm quite surprised that they didn't add this for D2.
Actually, it's Bungie, I'm not too surprised.
-
Been saying this since D1 beta days. They have it really low on the priority list.

I agree, In-game character customization should be a thing. This is something I have wanted for a while. When you start the game you don't have the full intell on what the game lore is going to be. I started playing Destiny and when I finished the story I already wanted to change the way my character looks. This is why I really hoped Bungie would put a barber/plastic surgeon in the social space. I think paying a fair amount (probably a lot) of glimmer at some shop which brings players back to the character customization screen isn't to much to ask for. I hope Bungie still puts this in Destiny, you could even integrate some lore like sacrificing your body to Osiris in order to reborn again or something like that...
-
1 ReplyAlso how about letting us turn our character around so we can fully see how it looks.

-
That is an awesome idea!

Edited by SpacemanSpff434: 9/12/2017 1:59:07 PMI agree. I ended up deleting one of my characters just so I could give him a haircut. It's the same dude with new hair but it doesn't feel the same.
-
5 RepliesYeah they should definitely add more vendors moving forward, Barber, shader vendor, ornament vendor, mod vendor, random gear vendor etc... It seems like a great social space and it is pretty big, but at the same time kind of feels a little empty and unutilised! Hopefully they just build on this space instead of adding more areas like the reef etc...

Even if they charged silver to use the service, that would be acceptable. With all the people that want it, they could make some decent money off it. And I don't think people would even complain that much about it. Well, not like this shader fiasco anyway.
