So, I have been playing some Crucible with the Origin Story Auto Rifle and I must say I love it! Cosmetically it is awesome! The stability, range, damage and even the sights are just perfect! I know this depends on personal opinion but I have also noticed Scathelocke and basically a copy of it called Lionheart are very effective as well. Let me know what you think of the current state of ARs, bear in mind this varies on personal preference.
Edit: Bungie... pls no nerf... ever.

Edit: Bungie... pls no nerf... ever.
I do think auto rifles are very annoying as someone who doesn't use them, however if Bungie nerfs auto rifles then everything else will get nerfed, I'd rather Bungie buff hand cannons and scouts, pulses need a huge buff though, not feeling any punch with those.

Bro autos like uriels prosecuter and the number melt. They perform well close and even mid to high range. Most times i can destroy a miida tool at scout distance.
-
Yes and they need a range nerf
-
Uriels Gift is the best one by a long shot. (yes the range is quite good)

4 RepliesUriel's Gift is my favorite right now.

1 ReplyMe and my brother in Supremecy... I used Origin and the Last Hope Sidearm and a Fusion. He had Hand cannon and launcher. Forgot what energy weap he used. I went 15 Streak, He went 12... at the same time. I noticed alot had ARs. High rate Pulses and Sidearms and Fusions. Meta (hate that word) will be Ars, Sides and Fusions for the most part. Just wait for trials and then they will all get nerfed. Which I hope not!

4 Replieshttps://imgur.com/oWF3OYn I got this bad boy from a Cayde stash.. FWC auto rifle and it's amazing
-
They are as good if not better than in year one.
-
Close range and flanking = hardlight. Close/med range picking engagements = sturm. Med/long range = mida (and if you have some nuts, graviton lance)
-
Not anymore. Now it's all Mida.
-
I love my Origin Story as well :)

Uriel's Gift FTW!!

1 ReplyEdited by 2fresh2bkilled: 9/11/2017 1:48:24 PMI got a blue auto that gets better aim assist when moving while aiming down sights. You are always moving with an auto while shooting. I dominated that match Edit: it's the Cubiod ARu

Seem to be useable again. I'm still using the freebie from zavala, it's actually pretty nice with the 3x stacking CC. ATM I have a blue with same perk I'm running with. Not bad at all
-
I have played uncharted mp and TLOU mp for many years and one thing i have learned is to stick with the team and play only with primaries thats why this PvP for me is not very bad. after 2,3 matches i could do very good.

All the weapons feel great in my opinion I can go in with any Loadout and do either good or decent 90% of the time not run the same b.s everyone was running in d1

They r bae

Sweet business all the way!

Never really got on with ARs in D1. Always felt they were too big and clunky and unstable... There were a few exceptions, like Arminius-D or Soulstealer's and The Unbent Tree (which was more like a machine gun). This time round I've pretty much dismantled every AR I picked up after firing them a few times – apart from one called Sand Wasp-3au – It's no legendary, just a common or garden blue but it's sort of changed my opinion of ARs – it feels lighter but way more stable than most. The Scathelocke and Sweet Business from the Beta did too but I haven't picked either of those up yet, nor the Lionheart or Origin Story – so I'll defo give them a whirl when I do. Cheers for the heads up.

2 RepliesEdited by 氷水啼エジル・ギュミ: 9/10/2017 12:23:43 PMThey are good but my -blam!-ing God I hate the exotic Sweet Business. What was Bungie thinking when they transferred that over to Crucible. It's not okay for entire teams to walk around with a mini gun. IT HAS 99 IN THE F*CKING MAG!!! You literally cannot do anything against a full health guardian coming at you with one. If you rush them, you die, if you're long distance you die. And it shoots so fast running away is never an option. It'll get you before you turn the corner.

Again the starting auto rifle is a beast use it

4 RepliesEdited by Legend of Jordy: 9/10/2017 6:28:34 AMAuto Rifles and Hand Cannons are like a delicious box of raisins. Pulse Rifles, on the other hand, are like a stale piece of celery. Dismantle or die, am I right?
-
2 Repliesosnap picked up a Scathelocke a while ago tonight, fondly-remembered from the Beta... yeah, the handling is still not something that makes me comfortable (again: Hatchet, Hexcaster, even Doctrine, sometimes-EA-just-because-lol) - but holy-man does Scathelocke kick some serious ass.
-
Silence say nothing @_@! The auto rifles must be spared this time and not suffer the same fate as there forebears.

2 RepliesDefinetly more consistent than handcannons that's for sure.
