I'd be happy to see the Nighstalker back
Actually, I'de be happy to see the return of the Nighstalker. What do you think about? Would you prefer to see the Nightstalker again or a new subclass?

Never really used Hunter but that Tether was handy in raids strikes and prison of elders for getting multiple energy globes quick.

It's probably the best subclass for support that we've ever had (outside of defender).

I don't agree with the idea that every class "has" to have a support function. Variety's a good thing. Let hunters carve out their own niche by being agile and able to carve out high DPS (for instance)

When asked about it, Bungie said they want to leave some surprises for us to discover and not spoil too much of the game. So when Bungie is notorious for shooting down lies or rumors that aren't true, we can basically take this as the 3 taken king subclasses will be returning in some way, shape, or form. Plus Luke Smith said in an interview recently that he has been seeing all the hate about hunters having no utility or team based abilities and he said "Without spoiling anything, I can assure you this won't be a problem." So lets just wait and see, but I cant imagine them taking away those subclasses, just revamping them.

Look at the PlayStation exclusive material and you see the warlock with a arc exotic sniper the titan with a solar exotic sniper and the hunter with a void exotic sniper... that's for me another hind... Hopefully they add the invisibility perks from Bladedancer to the new Nightstalker, bringing more stealth abilities to that subclass would make more sense.

The design decision to make the super abilities for offence oriented instead of defencive or passive as is the case with Shadow Shot. The Nightstalker subclass itself as a theme of subterfuge and trickery may return, but I doubt it will be in the same form. Granted it was stated that the Ward of Dawn bubble would not return, despite what was spoken in the interview, it is at the cost of reduced effectiveness by eliminated the "Blessing / Weapons of Light" perks as well as limiting it to a specific subclass branch instead of the entire class. I would expect a change similar to the Warlock change involving Sunsinger.

Gunslinger should be okay for damage and orb creation and arcstrider is fine for mob destruction. Many of us are so used to running nightstalker in PvE because it's without question the best choice. We'll have some adjusting to do when D2 drops without the 3rd subclasses.

Meh, would rather have hunters be void space ninjas. Titan's can be solar samurai or axe wielding berserkers and Warlocks can be arc wizards.

I would love this, its the only sub class i use when playing as hunter, would be nice if it gets re worked though
