No FREE-FOR-ALL?
That's just ridiculous.
So the list of why I'm BOYCOTTING destiny 2 grows
1. Missing content due to shady deal with a foreign console maker.
2. Purposely crippled frame-rate @ 30fps due to shady deal with a foreign console maker.
3. No FREE-FOR-ALL the only game mode I have any interest in.
/goes back to Halo 5, awaits Halo 6 @ 4K 60fps with FREE-FOR-ALL

3 Repliesthey actually have more game modes than the one in beta. You should check out some of the game mode vids. Not sure, but you may find what you are looking for.

I'm not boycotting, but I do agree with all the points you made. Exclusive deals just divide and alienate Bungie customers. When I look at the frame rates, with the level of detail, and deformable ground, and destructible buildings in BF1, I wonder if Bungie's graphics engine is falling behind the rest of the industry. And I cannot fathom the reasoning behind leaving off Rumble, possible the friendliest mode they experienced solo queuers. You did miss one major point, though. Only 4v4 matches. I was hoping with the new net code we could get more of our friends into matches with us, not less. This feels like a huge step backwards and is probably the single most disappointing thing about D2, for me. (Truly, if I suddenly has a controlling interest in Bungie, whoever made this decision would be needing to present a compelling argument, or dusting off their resume. It's just a very stupid design decision.) That being said, the Beta was still fun and I will play it, but I will also be pressuring Bungie to make changes to improve support for smaller and larger fireteams, and give some thought to the plight of the solo players.

Yup, FFA used to be my go-to gametype too. D2 is so far from my expectations, I can't even tell you. I'm not really disappointed as I was pretty much sure already that I wouldn't get it after the desaster called "Rise of Iron" . Good thing about D2 being a pretty lame game is that I found my way back to games like Skyrim , Borderlands and COD.
