I think I know who your on about. It's a "new" satnet comp. be warned. Their name used to be "exceed" and before that "wildblue" they offer "high speed" internet. And that part is true. It's also "unlimited data" witch is not true. After 10gb you will see demising returns. After 20gb your down to about 1mb down, .2mp up and 1000+ms of latency,
Will not play Xbox.
Will not play PS4
Will not play Netflix
Is completely useless

Huh. That's disappointing. Our internet with Pioneer seems to have gone downhill rather quickly in the last 8-12 months, and I was hoping to jump ship to a better ISP. I guess I'm stuck with 2 mb/s...
-
Yup. Unlike the rest of the word, where monopolizing a network region is EXTREMELY ILLEGAL apparently here in bumF¥€K Oklahoma it's ok. Pioneer actually bought the airspace.. before there was a law against this. And to this day, owns a decent portion of rural Oklahoma, cox and att won't ever get here, the only thing that can. Is something that is not landline based. Thus satnet, witch we know here in Oklahoma is a level of cancer reserved for actual cancer. Seriously so bad you feel bad for it. But back to corporate bs, pioneer, is doing something that, if a good group of people here stood up, with half a brain, and said "hey, this ISP thinks they can own you" on reddit and exposed em, they would be shut down in a week, Sure sure we would all be without internet for a few weeks, but , than a big callable beast like cox, att, hell, I'd even take some midlevel trash an like suddenlink over this, it's abysmal, but it's better than satnet
-
;-; WHY CRUEL WORLD? WHYYYYYY...
-
Because. Sadly. Most people in Oklahoma are not aware of th fact that what they are doing is wrong
-
I know a few people around my area on KanOkla, but their internet is generally worse than mine. HOWEVER, one of them has and is able to play the Destiny 2 Beta. It's infuriating.
-
Oh ya no doubt it's not just TERRIBLE internet that's causing it, I mean. Trackphone... yes.. that dollar store POS and there data plan actually works, The phone was a 3G max, no 4g no lte Samsung from like.. idk. Old. Just. Old. But it had DUN support. So I wired it into my pc. And forwarded the pc connection to my Xbox. Both with and without proper port forwarding Both cases worked. But cox! Ya. The mega provider cox, not 7miles towards el Reno, don't work either
-
Best vacation days ever! I mean, at least it looks like they're trying to fix it now. It's better than 20 hours of silence :/
-
YES! right. I mean. I've been sitting here like. Ok.. it only affects Europe and Canada ... so. I'm screwed
-
I've seen people from all over the place with it, though the fact that so much of Europe is on a handful of ISPs is probably why it seems so focused there. Mostly Belgium and Austria, from what I've seen. Not to be mean or anything, but hopefully a lot more people around the central US are having this issue as well. If they patch it and it doesn't work for our ISPs, I'm done.
-
Ya. I do think a lot of us are getting pushed out because we paid for a early access beta... and. Didn't get to play it. At all... and now the open beta is about to launch. And we didn't even get a chance.
-
Oh but even on day one of months reset you'll have 20down, 8up And 600!!!+ ms of latency. Most games tell you to shove off trying to play online with that level of Potato powered internet
