You don't have to be a fanboy or a hater!
You don't.
Why should you have to be in either camp ?.
I really enjoy Destiny. It's given me a lot of fun times. That doesn't make me a fanboy.
At times it's been a bit frustrating and I've suffered the occasional glitch. That doesn't make me a hater.
Destiny 2 is coming and I'm avoiding too much pre-launch info because if I like what I see or I don't like what I see I get accused of being one or the other.
It's okay to like a game. It's okay to not like a game. There are other games to play.
I don't think anyone's blind to the faults in Destiny 1. But it's up to people how much those faults impacted on their enjoyment. If you still got out of Destiny what you wanted then that's fine. If they ruined your experience then I'm sorry that happened.
I'll see some of you in Destiny 2. Hope you enjoy it. To those whose journey ends now I say happy gaming and I hope you find a game you enjoy!

I agree man. Personally I just think people are too emotional about it. Like, give that guy a Snickers. Maybe that makes us casuals. And that's great. Or whatever. Either way, the fact that one game has created such a widespread and powerful impact, for better or worse, over [i]three years[/i] is something I feel blessed to have been a part of. I love this game. It has everything I want from a shooter and enough of the RPG element to satisfy me daily. Daily bro. Shit, my wife doesn't do that lol. I'm slightly dreading leaving it behind. After playing the demo to death (to DEATH), I joined just before Christmas. I soon decided that Destiny was the be all end all of video games for me. Now, here we are, waning fiercely towards the end, all these years later. Years filled with the full spectrum of emotional experience, making new friends, laughing, joking, intense battle, conquering, and blowing shit up across the galaxy! What a roller coaster. Loved it. I look forward to more in D2. TL;DR I agree and enjoyed D1

4 RepliesI don't think it's good to be a fanb-ater. Either you like a change or you don't. Walk down the middle of the road... sooner or later squish like grape. Fanboy = All the people that take the stuff where Bungie clearly took big crap on the player base, and they try to sell it as a positive. (dedicated servers/frame rate/static weapon rolls/dumbed down sub-classes/ grimoire/etc.) Hopefully all the bad news is out and the good news is going to start rolling in. For the next month or so... I'm hopeful. How about you?

I am usually one of the first to denounce Bungie on bad decisions, but so far with the things announced for D2 a lot of it does seem like they are trying to do better. Doesn't mean I am not on the fence and it doesn't mean if the game is not to my liking I won't complain in the future as well, but I have never been one to just judge things on face value or others opinions.

2 RepliesI'm both. In the summer I guess I'm a fanboy because it's hot and I need to run the fan, and in the winter I definitely use my heater to stay warm. I don't get why there is so much contention around it in these forums.
