Ok so I played since beta on PS4 and my Xbone collected dust. I just started a Destiny account on Xbox six weeks ago and today I noticed 'Look for Groups' in the Xbox menu. Did NF on my three characters and afterward thought, "WHY THE HELL HAVE I BEEN PLAYING ON PS4 ALL THIS TIME???" I've used lfg websites a few times but it's a pain sprinting back and forth from my computer to my console to get a game going.
Xbox LFG was so easy to find players and join fireteams...my god. Of course I'll try guided games out but this is all I ever wanted. Never going back to PSN.
EDIT: I heard that adding the LFG to Xbox was a recent update a few weeks ago, so I guess it wasn't there all along. Great feature though, really makes finding games easy.

5 RepliesPS4 has communities. You can basically join a group and put a LFG post on it.
-
3 RepliesI tried using the lfg feature but it's full of squeakers
-
1 ReplyFor those that post on the Destiny Xbox lfg but are worried about you post being pushed down by the dozens that get posted every minute try the club "destiny destiny destiny" it is less polluted and still very fast at getting groups together with more experienced players in my experience.
-
6 RepliesThis was added MONTHS ago. Please try to keep up.
-
Actually, I think the groups were added sometime last year...been using the Xbox LFG for all kinds of games. Works great. Have not had to use the Destiny LFG, or any other third part LFG sites, since probably the beginning of 2016.

1 ReplyPS4 has Destiny communities
-
5 RepliesDon't worry Xbox one X will put us back on top fam

5 RepliesHow much space for text does LFG on Xbox give you? because that was the hardest part in dealing with LFG sites for me. It was like having to give a tweet about what was going on versus how guided games appears to allow me to give a summary of my clan, so they know how we handle raids, etc. Also, from my experience so far, Xbox LFG does not seem to get many replies.
-
That feature has been around for a while
-
3 RepliesUhhhh u do know that PS4 has the same thing right?
-
5 RepliesLOL PS4 has had this for months. Xbox actually copied the idea. Please stay on Xbox though, please.
-
Added a few months ago, not weeks

1 ReplyI prefer the bungie app, too many squeakers use xboxes lfg.
-
I've been using it for months. =)

I use the Xbox LFG all the time. It's WAY easier than typing in a poorly spelled gamertag with letters and numbers with a controller from a website post only to find out missed one letter. The one thing I don't like though is that it's not completely fool proof. I really like to use the search feature to look for the specific activity I want to do, but sometimes people use inconsistent methods so your search doesn't pull their result. For example, some people only put #weeklyfeaturedraid, while others only use #kingsfall390, others do #oryx390 and still others just put #raid and write in the text that they are doing the weekly Kings fall raid. So using filters can fail you sometimes. I also wish you could sort by soonest posted to oldest posted. I wish bungie made an ingame LFG similar to the Xbox one, but made it more foolproof so you choose the activities from a prebuilt list of options so everyone is on the same page.

4 RepliesSo you don't have a phone to put the lfg app on?
-
Tried it for the first time last week and it was so easy and nice to do it all on the console.
-
I totally agree the lfg on xbox is great, like you said, so much easier to find players and join a group.I love it
-
We have LFG? This changes everything! I didn't know that, thank you so much!
-
It was an update from a few months ago. However, I agree with you if you're looking for people its nice to be able to do everything from the console and not have to go back and forth between multiple devices.
-
Recruitment on this app is much better. Xbox lfg works easily well for most games other than Destiny that don't already have good lfg systems.
-
2 RepliesYeah, but it's cramped with a lot of bad players sadly.
-
Every time I've ever used it, the group has SUCKED
-
It's months old

Xbox has been introducing some great features. The lfg was a nice addition👍🏻
