4v4? Please don't.
I love this game but I'm a casual pvp player. If Bungie puts this into effect it will effectively alienate the regular non competitive players even more. We don't do trials/elimination we just play for fun. Why would you make it even more difficult? #Feedback

Super excited about D2, can't wait. But this one that hit me hard two. Iron banner 4 v 4? It'll lose a lot of what made it fun. There's a reason why I played IB and not trials. Hated trials.

I agree. Adding a 4v4 mode is ok, but forcing 4v4 on all game modes doesn't sit well with me. I thought destiny 2 was about expanding our community not making it smaller...

I agree I really don't want 4v4s for everything in the crucible it looks like a great game mode and I will play it but I would also like to see some clash 6v6 or some control 6v6 that would be awesome

I'm probably going to play D2 just for the pve and when I want to do pvp I'll just hop on D1.

I'm disappointed since I rarely played 3-on-3 modes, basically it was salvage and very rare. There is no classic 6v6 death match in D2 , no rumble match, that just sucks... I don't even know is there now any reason to buy Destiny 2, since I played mostly 6v6 pvp.

4V4 PVP is a really really bad idea and the compleat wrong way to handle the PVP issues D1 had.

This, this, this. Look, I enjoy Trials, salvage and skirmish, but I don't want ever game to be small teams. It's not always fun. 6v6 should be the default, period. Then you can have the smaller teams, plus maybe even a larger scale battle like 8v8. 4v4 is the wrong way to do this, no one will play Crucible expect all the tryhards.

11 RepliesI agree. This hurts casual players, as well as invested players just looking to have fun running stress-free (i.e. not trying hard). The general fun-factor just got flushed down the toilet. eSports will dictate Destiny 2 PvP.

4v4 doesn't nessescary mean that every game will be a sweatfest. Look at Overwatch for example. Both quickplay and competitive are basically the same thing with same maps and gamemodes. The differences being that comp games last longer and people queue there with comp mentality. Bungie could separate crucible in a similar way. Comp giving additional benefits ofc ( why would anyone play it otherwise?)

I totally agree, in fireteamchat ep. 113 Luke smith was asked about dedicated servers, the answer was that they didn't want to invest in them. To mitigate for the poor p2p system they have elected to make all modes 4v4 with more cbmm. This is an embarrassment for a triple A game.

Plants vs Zombie 2 got dedicated servers and is able to handle 32 vs 32 player matches with crisp gfx and tons of objects and physics going on. Bungie only manage 4vs4 because of .. what?

2 RepliesI don't know how I feel about 4v4 across all game modes... 4v4 for Trials sounds great, but no more 6v6 clash??? :( The 4v4 archetype across all pvp would make sense to me if there was a 4th Guardian Class..

Yeah I'm not digging the 4v4 and the game mode. Its like the one with the relics which I hated playing that version. Seems slower paved even though it's like 2 min long per match and just like trial with the elimination. Feels like they took PvP made it strictly trialsish.
