I swear I have never seen a group of gamers more pissed off at a reveal until now. This is hilariously pathetic. Yea, I have some problems with the game (restricted 4v4 pvp, secondary weapons now acting like heavies) but your guys' reasons for whining are so contradicting it makes me want to blow my brains out.
Community: Bungie we want new abilities in the game.
Bungie: ok, we've changed around your initial subclass with a lot more flexibility on how you can play it, and then added another subclass with it
Community: ....I'm in shock.... HOW COULD YOU DO THIS

Ok, let's not act like it's no big deal that the normal parts of the solar system that we have had in game since Day 1 are just magically not around anymore. I, like probably most everyone else with a modicum of common sense assumed we would have all the original locations available (unless a cut scene shows some reason why we can't go there) PLUS the new areas. That's not exactly some far fetched idea. This isn't "just" a shooter so I expect at least the worlds from the 1st part of our adventure to still be around. This game was originally sold as 1 huge game with pieces always being added on. They're slowly just turning it into Halo 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, etc. On the flip side, you sure did marginalize what IMO are pretty BIG piles of BS in 4v4 crucible and shotty's and snipers being considered heavy's now. Dude, Captain America Titan........... Staffdancer....... Swords of Sol...... *hint that I typed the above abilities with derision* Don't get me wrong, I preordered and I'm keeping my preorder so far. I still play D1 a lot. I realize this was just an initial presentation so I'm willing to hold out hope that we haven't had the whole picture yet. But let's not act like the last 3 years of Bungie shitting the bed just didn't happen.....hue hue hue

Because continuing to buy content and play it, whilst anonymously complaining over the internet the entire time accomplishes absolutely nothing. Guess what Bungie/Activision notices? If i don't like a game i don't hang out in the forums crying about it, i don't think reasonable people do but expecting people on the interwebs to behave reasonably isn't reasonable.

6 RepliesOkay, take a step back and look at it from a different perspective. There is objectively nothing different from a technical standpoint about D2 from D1. It's literally the same gunplay, same engine (looks a little bit better graphically, yes), P2P connections, 30 FPS. Any technical limitations that D1 faces now, you can easily expect to see those same problems in D2. Unless Bungie reworked their whole net code (which they have said nothing about, if they did change it for the better they would be bragging about it), there is no doubt in my mind that the same problems that plagued D1 will absolutely be the problems that plague D2. So while you say games we haven't played yet, really, we have been playing this game since 2014.
