Thoughts on Streamers cheating to win games?
Last night ran into some people using the shoulder charge glitch to win a lighthouse game. What are your thoughts on this type of tactic openly being used and abused.

If those reports and the investigation bear fruit, the cheaters will be dealt with. But things like making a vid, creating a topic, and/or naming them here on the forums serves no purpose and has no benefit. For those who want to take the extra step, or were kicked from the game (and are unable to access the reporting tool), Bungie has created a [u][url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Help/Troubleshoot?oid=13967]Cheating Submission Form[/url][/u] that allows players to find the PGCR (Post Game Carnage Report) from their personal history, fill out an official report, describe the cheating, and even link a vid (if they have one). [b]Please feel free and encouraged to use this tool, [u]but pay close attention to the warnings on the form[/u][/b].
* If you are not confident that a player was cheating, do not use this form.
* Abuse of this contact form may result in account restrictions.
* Fraudulent reports and submissions unrelated to cheating may result in disciplinary actions against your account.

27 RepliesAnyone using the following is a cheater: A mouse and keyboard A lag switch Net Tools Other network traffic manipulation software Controller mods Net Duma or equivalent router which allows you to set regional match making A red dot on your tv/monitor And any other non standard way of playing. Scuffs and Elite controllers are ok.

Lab are a joke among elite players. They bitch about everything everyone they play against does, but always use the cheapest tactics themselves. Common knowledge. That being said, it's not cheating. It's on the developer to fix shit. It should be expected that players competing at a high level will use all the tools available to them to win. You might think it makes them scrubs but the real scrub is the one who doesn't adapt. But that doesn't mean they aren't bitches for using such a cheap tactic. Actually they glorified it, making a youtube video on how to do it. Don't get me wrong, they're good players. A lot better than I'll ever be. But I can't play trials 50+hours a week either.

8 RepliesWow. Well I'll be unfollowing them. I honestly had no idea that shoulder charge thing was even a thing. The fact that a big time streamer abuses that shit is sad. And I love the end of that clip. Dude uses something that's not suppose to be in the game, "GOOD Fing PLAY DOoooD.

2 RepliesMy thoughts?..... Trials=Trash Crucible=not balanced, and certainly not competitive. The crucible is a failed abortion who's birth certificate is an apology letter from the condom factory. So with that being said....... Trials is just an arms race of cheap crappy tactics to get to the light house with little effort. So if you're playing that mode, unfortunately that's the BS you're subscribed to. Fight fire with fire. Armor of Light bubble train over the cap point, don't even try shooting.

1 ReplyTo me it's no different than deliberately using the quiver glitch. Shoulder charge should be removed from the game until it's fixed. It's that simple.

4 RepliesDont think it should be a banable offense just because its a glitch in the game code and not someone deliberately messing with networking or something along those lines still cheap tho if people want to do that in normal crucible thats fine who cares but in trials where someone might be trying to go for the first time its just low

Not really a detailed enough poll though is it. It's not cheating per se and most certainly doesn't warrant any form of a ban. Doesn't mean it's not a dick move for streamers, ie, people who are good enough to not need to resort to exploits, to do.

This is not considered cheating by bungie. I know 3 guys who have been ddosing their way to the lighthouse for 2 months now and still not banned. They were reported at least 30 times.

Should get a temporary ban from trials. Streamers should give a good example, not promote using cheap glitches. Hit em where it hurts, their revenues. If they circumvent the ban by playing on another account give them a permanent ban.
