Honestly I hope I spelled his name right. Don't judge me. But ya, look it up, Elon Musk thinks there is a high probability that the world we live in is a computer simulation. How weird would that be?

"Just like the simulations"

Edited by Reggie_Wok: 5/18/2017 12:20:24 AMWell, speaking from a probability standpoint, there are potentially infinite simulations for every one "real" universe. Simulations can be created at an extremely rapid rate, especially as technological capabilities grow exponentially, and extraterrestrial entities, such as a star, could potentially provide a power source great enough for a universal simulation. Furthermore, the universe is governed by fundamental physical laws, which could be a result of constraints and or limitations of a simulation's code. Multiverse theories would also play in as the multiverse could just be an infinite chain of simulations within simulations.

Edited by Boggy: 5/17/2017 10:49:15 PMTrump is an antivirus and his wall is a firewall. By that logic ill-willed people are viruses that wreak havoc in the system. Since there are mathematic principles outside of reality that would still be true if the universe didn't exist then the physical is not all there is. Also, who created the computer simulation? Another simulation? Then who created that one? The problem with this is the logical flaw that something can come from nothing. If empirical evidence defines your reality then by all means plug your ears.

1 ReplyEdited by SuperStormDroid: 5/17/2017 10:12:00 PMIf the world is a simulation, a virus should just infect it right now and kill everything, given the current state of the world now.

2 RepliesNow I disagree with him. Buuut, at least he has a reason for believing that other than "because the sky dad says so"

1 ReplyI agree. Sometimes when swimming in my pool, the ladder disappears and I can't get out. There definitely is something weird here.

6 RepliesWtf is a elon musk

2 RepliesI sometimes feel like we are living in a simulation. Sometimes I will think of something totally random and then it will happen. It is the strangest phenomenon. Have you ever experienced anything like this?

Not very, because it would explain a lot

Wake up Neo

What a -blam!-ing complex computer program that must be.
