For me it's Mass Effect Andromeda. I was let down in every way possible. I don't even think the game passes as decent. And the OG trilogy was my favorite franchise of all time.

Honestly, Evolve. I had such high expectations. It came from a Dev with prestige. The concept was great. The promo looked insane. But the complete lack of story, and the completely puzzling decisions made by the team completely muffled the idea. It had such promise, but just fell short in spectacular fashion. Then the community fell apart, and it became unplayable. The DLC bull shit didn't help either. It isn't the worst game this generation, but it is certainly the one that let me down the most.

No man's sky even tho I only payed £10 for it I couldn't bring myself to play past 1hour before deleting it off my console.

4 RepliesPersonally Rainbow six siege I would have loved a story mode (which could've been cool) instead of terrorist hunts Along with multiplayer I hate the fact it was just different versions of search and destroy (I did like the hostage one) Like a team death match or domination or something besides where you die once and your out for the round

Destiny or Andromeda.

7 RepliesCan't get disappointed if you don't fall for the hype.

I really wasn't all that disappointed in any games. I generally don't follow the hype and I don't buy into what the devs say. Most games people followed and played to death I ended up liking. I liked the division. But I also didn't sit down and run through the game on day 1 either.

50 RepliesNo Man's Sky. Disagree with you on Mass Effect Andromeda. It was a VERY good game, that was plagued by some VERY minor graphical problems. I came to the game with no expectations (was not a fan of the original Trilogy) and loved it. I think ME: A just couldn't bear the weight of all the hype and 5 years of fan expectations. I was "disappointed" as a kid when I went to see "The Empire Strikes Back" in the theater back in 1981. Four years of antipcipation and expectation...and I left the theater feeling "let down". Despite the fact that "Empire" was actually a better movie than Star Wars. The problem was that I went in expecting "Empire" to make me FEEL the same way that Star Wars had done 4 years ealier....and it simply wasn't going to happen. Star Wars was so groundbreaking that it basically redefined how science fiction movies were made. So Empire was never going to give me that "I've never seen anything like this before" feeling I had with Star Wars. Because I HAD seen something like it before. IOW, I think a lot of you ME fans came to this game expecting Andromeda to make you feel like you did about the original trilogy. Memories that have largely FORGOTTEN about the limitations and problems of THOSE games. So the game was never going to be able to live up to your expectations....and the graphical problems the game had only made it doubly apparent that it wouldn't. But---left you in a position where you weren't able to really see the game and what it was on its own merits. A really, really good open world game.

I don't even think the game passes as decent.
It's not THAT bad. Sure it has it's shortcomings, but it's not a bad game. Maybe not a great one, but come on.

Fallout 4. Compared to New Vegas and Fallout 3, it is a lump of shite.

Edited by Murph Tha Smurf: 5/3/2017 6:13:01 PMDestiny and its 2 "reboots". $200 dollars + microtransactions is not worth what Bungie put out. And they had 3 years on top of development to change that.

4 RepliesI gave it a good long thought and I would have to say the Division. The bullet sponge enemies and RPG elements just didn't fit well in this gorgeous game. I think I would have preferred gameplay elements more along the lines of Wildlands. I thought the survival mode was a cool idea but needs to be more fleshed out and implemented into the main game. The bullet sponge enemies kind of made the weapons feel bland and far from unique. Looting just didn't feel satisfying on any level. Shame really. I bought the deluxe gold platinum triple A class alpha limited edition with the life size armored personnel carrier manned by a butler. I found the game beautiful at startup and as my buddy and I started running around I was excited to see everything unfold only to just watch my enthusiasm wane as the the hours went by.
