I don't care for your favorite class. I would like to know your opinion on which requires more skill.

2 RepliesI'm a Hunter main and even I know that the poll is bs. Hunters do not (overall) take the most skill to use. They have a shitton of utilities to use. Just because you're running low armor as a handicap does not make you skillful in using them. You wanna know what really takes skill to use? Titans, specifically Defenders. If you wanted to take a look back for the past few years, Titans have had it the hardest, Sunsingers falling shortly behind.

non all classes are inconsistent trash

Err wtf? Honestly didn't expect this, I personally think they all take some skill but the fact that hunters take the most skill made me laugh so hard

4 RepliesHow the -blam!- is Hunter at the top, people are obviously picking it because it's their favorite class, they are by far the easiest to control and there's nothing wrong with that

I don't care for your favorite class. I would like to know your opinion on which requires more skill.
Warlocks are hard. You have to time everything perfectly. Absolutely PERFECTLY! And you have to have good aim with Nova Bomb, or it sux d*ck

Ok I get how hunters are most voted for, but how in gods name is warlock voted higher than Titan?!?!?
-
warlocks for sure! the game does so much playing for you that its really hard to show just how skilled you really are at the game!
-
Titans are easy to play with I think but difficult to master. It's more or less the player though not the character. I think it's easiest to play on a warlock but I've had a lock as my main since vanilla so I might be biased
-
I believe they all have good points. It's the subclasses that are harder to main as I only vary my subclasses for nightfalls . Warlock self res with grenades is just horrible in PvP

15 RepliesThey are all hard to master: Warlocks with their shitty jumps. Titans with... Hold on gimme a second....... Hunters with the amount of nerfs they've gotten. Titans... Still don't have anything. Thanks Biased Bungie. But the one that requires the most skill is the Hunter Class. I'll use supers as my example. I'll compare each element with each other, crucible based: Solar Gunslinger; You click the super buttons and then have to actually aim at a person to kill them. This requires good accuracy and fast reflexes knowing that you have no extra armor whatsoever. Sunsinger: Self Revive after dying to chuck fusion grenades at people (You do have to aim) and instantly kill them (You can probably get around 7 kills) or punch them once with the shotgun ranged bitch slap. This is a good enough skill based subclass that requires nearly as much skill as Gunslingers. This subclass gains additional armor + Bitch Slap Heat Shield = Unstoppable noob chucking grenades at people that insta kills them. Sunbreaker: Ultimately the funnest subclass to use that inflicts damage, this is also the solar one that requires less skill. There is a perk which alters the path of your hammers to hit enemies. The hammers have the blast radius of a g-horn, and you can solar bang the crap out of people. You gain additional armor and can throw hammers for days. Arc Bladedancer: With the recent nerf, many believe this subclass to be absolute shit. Well according to my recordings; Doub, Trip, Quadruple, Quintup, SEXTUPLE KILL! So yeah it's still pretty good. But again, you have to press special buttons and you do gain some additional armor (Thankfully) but have to run around with the face of a wild Hitler yelling at the top of your lungs "WHO WANTS TO GET SHANKED TONIGHT". Thankfully you can become invisible but you can still get killed by matador + Bitch Slap. Stormcaller: Run around the map holding down shoot. That's. That's all. Just... Why? Striker: Press special buttons, get 6 kills. Great. You did great. You pressed 2 buttons. Are you proud of yourself, cause I sure am! Void Nightstalker: Click special buttons and try to aim where your target is going to move since the tether has a 1 second delay. If you miss, shoot your target (They can still kill you!). Not much going on here. Voidwalker: Jump in the air! Press 2 buttons! SEXTUPLE KILL! Ikora would be proud. Defender: Funnest super ever. Press 2 buttons, get an overshield or a boost to damage. T-Bag the hell out of the person who dared to shoot a rocket at you. Then camp in your bubble, wait for someone to go inside and shoot them in the face with Universal, or make friends with the whole team, let them in your bubble, and use darkdrinker on all 6 of them. SEXTUPLE KILL! Yep. Hunter is the most skill based class in all of Destiny. And the most targeted.

For me, Hunters. I dunno why, but I find them hard. Fun, but hard.

I want to say titan because I've played so much hunter that I can't imagine it being difficult even with the lion's share of class nerfs affecting blade in some way since patch 2.0 back in June 2015. However, in terms of ease of use, striker & sunbreaker far outshine blade & gunslinger. Nightstalker is often used for carries based on wombo & shadestep which good players easily win against which is why nightstalker is rare in sweats even compared to blade which isn't common to begin with. Then because camping is the way of trials now & skorris is less effective, bubble is a very effective choice when it comes to super generation and capping flags. Though bubble is more difficult to use effectively in general for 3's than nightstalker at least to me as a hunter main with well over 100,000 kills. So if it's what class overall is the most difficult to use/has the worst kit? The answer is undoubtedly Hunter in terms of melee range/strength/abilities, grenade strength, mobility, even stat distribution (armor/recovery/agility). The only real debatable advantage is passive abilities.

9 RepliesTitans for sure. There's obvious reasons why people choose not to run Titans in Trials carries or Competitive sweats.
inb4 triggered replies
None of them, it's the player, not the class.
-
Edited by autistic_lion22: 4/27/2017 3:39:26 PMI mean Titans are meant to be tanks(which they are not), but they have the biggest hitbox so their easy to shoot, all the classes have about the same health. And Hunters have the smallest, so they're a pain in the ass to shoot.
-
Really depends on the player. I main a Titan but find Hunter the easiest for me and the warlock the hardest.
-
You do know that this is essentially "Which class is your favorite" right?

Subs that don't rely on there super... sun singer, and defender are good examples imo. I like to pair felwinter artifact with the melee perks that make targets explode and generate orbs. That along with touch of flame makes pve real fun and in some situations you make make hella orbs. (abyss in crota raid) Subs that lean on gun skill and map awareness as well as predicting opponents are skill based imo.
