Every death there is a chance that light will run out, not be able to reach the target, and/or there simply isn't enough around/left to expend. This is why in the Lore the Crucible is controversal. Vanilla:we have no idea who the stranger is. Insinuation and conjecture leads to that of Maya Sundaresh at best. She was one of Dr.Shim's colleagues who was present during the vex unit simulating them. It is plausible that between those 227 loops, she gathered pertinent info and brought it to the bray family; who turned her into an exo. And due to her prolonged exposure to that vex unit; she became chronologically dissociated. Though, this is wild speculation. We do know she may be the founder of the FWC. As well, she has ties with Praedyth (as NTTE has features from both her and praedyth's weapons), and possibly OSIRIS. It's plausible she was speaking to one of them on the comms. About what? Unknown... DB/HOW: During that time of destiny, Uldren and his crows made the incredibly incompetent decision to stumble upon the jovian colonies. AKA: the nine' s territory. They were perturbed as one might suspect, and to appease them Mara Sov gave them Skolas. Then, as punishment, the nine released him and basically all of the surviving wolves. Why? Because the nine - like the ahamkara, and other entities - have no side in this war. They play for themselves. Everything they do is a mystery. Better questions would be why is Xûr ordered to give us their trash every weekend. Or how do they collect such weapons and armor. Or WHO THEY ARE... But that's for another time. Taken King: 1:Eris and the queen were allies long before that. If you recall; there was a card released around Db/HOW where Mara, Eris, and two unknown apparitions (most likely Osiris and Toland) were discussing soon to come threats -AKA Oryx. I'd assume that prior to the failure of Eris' fireteam, when she was only a member of the hidden, she had to hold conference with her which led to them speaking with each other. That, and plausibly Eris' relationship with Toland and the secrets he bequeathed upon her. 2: to assist is slaying the hive. She lost her allies, her ghost, and was nearly exiled thanks to the hive. All she wishes for is retribution. 3: Uldren? Maybe? I mean he's been crashlanded on uncharted martian territory for over a year with only a few crows to accompany him. You'd think Petra would've sent out a search party by now... I only hope he's alright, as he is the only person we know who can sense Mara. 4: seems as if deathsingers don't require throne rooms to undo their deaths. Rather, they hold that of death and its quiddity in their hand (just as Toland suspected). Meaning, they truly do understand how to make themselves a part of death: "rotting and pealing, but never truly ending". That only makes me more curious about ir Anûk and Ir Halak. Rise of iron: Repair? Repair what? Seems as if he's gained full sentience and is completely operable in all other cases. He's back in control of what's left of SIVA, and all of his usual weapons of mass destruction. If you mean force him to begin his initiatives for preserving humanity again; I don't think he'd like that all too much. He despises the light, and doesn't trust us for a second. Better off to leave him be and protect him every now and again. Till of course the day comes where he comes up with an idea to destroy the city or something to that affect. Then it might be time to destroy him. Raids: Vog: praedyth didn't flee like pahanin after Kabr sacrificed himself. Rather, he burrowed deeper into the vault to continue to find a way to defeat the vex. Without going too far into it; destiny runs on multi-universe theory. What most likely occurred was that other versions of praedyth became self aware of each other and the vault. To assist in not allowing them tampering with the aegis, and kabr' s plans; he confused the vex as best as possible. He became dead, living, and he never even existed all at that same time. Or something to that effect. Everything gets all timey-wimey with that part of the lore. Characters: Because Zavala is the charla- I mean speaker's pet. He agrees with nearly everything he says, almost never questioning him. When eris returned, he was even in favor with the speaker to exile her. Had it not been for ikora; it would've . Knowing this -and the speakers thoughts on Osiris- it's plausible the speaker held contempt for those who wished to follow osiris. As such, so did zavala... most likely that is. The nine: ... harbingers, ahamkara remnants, if not them themselves, or even greater powers. Who knows. Maybe wash their laundry. In all severity though, those things seem To emminate with power. Maybe we should be more careful with our deals. Tevis: Normally, for a guardian to die completely, they must break bonds with their ghosts, their ghost must die first, or both must be drained of all their light or corrupted. Not too versed with all the lore surrounding tevis, but I don't believe we ever recover his ghost. Safe to say it might have died. Or his insensent use of the void without understanding/reverent respect finally got the best of him at the worst time; thus not allowing for the ghost to recall him. New Monarchy: most likely the mind control devices they utilize on new recruits. Have you seen their tenants? A bit "big brother" don't you think? Just doesn't bode well with me. Lost hunter: That sounds like a rouge. Maybe Dredgen vale, or shin malphur? Either way, not likely PVE/PVP: because it wouldn't be as bungie intended. Early on, they stated they wanted all changes to affect all ranges of play equally so your guardian would feel the same regardless of where they go. But frankly (and no offense bungie, I love ya) it seems to just make our guardians feel weaker in pve overall, and make weapons/abilities in general weaker. As well, make the end game feel a bit less rewarding. But, their game I suppose.

Also heres another question, How did pahanin witness the fall of Kabr if Kabr was alone when he died?

Or how about this question, Did Kabr die or did he just become corrupted by the Vex? Because in the grimoire he says something like "if you see me I am no longer Kabr" or something like that, meaning he could still be alive but he is controlled by the Vex.

i was always under the assumption that the nine released skolas to force the queen to ally with the guardians to deal with Oryx's arrival. Plus Eris and Osiris went and had consort with the queen in grimoire so we know why theyre allied beyond Eris even being an Awoken
