pvp. pvp and its community ruined this game.
edit
the pvp community is aids.
the comments from the pvp community in this is basically the word of god himself
but mostly your mum.
pure
edit 2: after reading through replies i have found out that pvp players are brain dead. just like the cod and csgo community. the only pvp game without and absolutely aids community is overwatch and even that can be aids.
what I'm trying to say is that people who play destiny for pvp exclusively can be an actual std to this game. destiny is a pve game and im sick and tired of the guns I use being nerfed because everyone and their mother who just lost a game of trials will go on the forums and complain about a gun that killed them or a subclass. you need to stop complaining and just except the fact that your trash. go back to call of duty and complain that your friend didn't revive you even though you have a ray gun.
the pvp community is a mess. x

edit 3: 1st of all this does not deserve to be trending lol
2nd dont criticize me for not using capitalization, im typing with a keyboard
3rd i still love destiny...
but i hate pvp and its community
yes i know it's bungie who makes the nerfs happen, although they wouldn't have to if the pvp (mostly trials players with high elos) who cry out for a nerf every time they die.
i don't think crucible shouldn't be a thing, because it's something to do if you don't like doing strikes and shit. but it needs to be handled differently (and maybe just have a second -blam!-ing holocaust, where the victims are the pvp community)
TL;DR
pvp good bro but needs to be handled differently by bungie, and its community is a disease.
<3
edit 4: no clue why people are saying that im whining in this post. im just stating that the pvp community made this game bad. the pvp community is basically the -blam!-ing zika virus.
edit 5: after reading more replies ive come to the conclusion that destiny elite pvp athletes are intellectually better than me or you. they are the smartest people on this planet and might even be the second coming of christ. please say thank you to a pro crucible player for making this planet a better player for us, the minority.
edit 6: im done responding to retards with serious responses, im just going to reply with unfunny 2010 memes.
edit 7: somebody reported me lol so i can't reply to any of you intellectuals out there any more.

1 ReplyThe fourms and everyone crying for nerfs
-
Yes. the community did take a major part of the destruction of Destiny. Even trials was something that was born from the community. Though people seem to forget that Destiny was already flawed from the start. It was designed primarily as an FPS to be more accessible to a larger audience. Nothing would save Destiny 1 from this. If anything that was Bungie's biggest sin. As long as they market and make D2 as an RPG first and formost it should be a million times better out of the gate.

1 ReplyI mainly play pvp but I agree with u
-
1 ReplyWhat about Sparrow Racing League? That was pretty AIDS.
-
1 ReplyPvP is a waste of bullets.
-
2 RepliesLmao I love how some many people get triggered because what he says is true. - Destiny is known for its PvE not PvP and when compared comes not even close to Overwatch - Has the worst and saltiest communitys ever, even worse than For Honor - PvP ruins balance in PvE which is fact or do you ever see buffs? I don't
-
I kinda agree with you about PvP. Every time a weapon gets nerfed it's because it has something to do with PvP. Then the weapon ends up sucking shit in PvE. I say make PvE & PvP separate modes. Kinda like the way Warframe does their conclave. None of the frames and weapons work exactly the same way in PvP like it does in PvE. They keep it separate from the PvE side. I Hope Bungie does this.
-
It doesn't help that with the recent change to special ammo shows they could've kept most of the nerfs separate
-
Streamers and youtubers ruined the game

1 ReplyExactly.. year 1 and beginning of taken king was amazing... everyone was helpful and respectful toward each other.. then the COD fanfuks came over and now bungholie only caters to them and their whinning.. nerf this nerf that. Leave fkn pve alone...it sure as fuk wasnt OP in pve..
-
4 RepliesLiterally the dumbest shit ever. "Go play cod" lol. Bungie. Makes. PvP. Games. Last pve game they made was like 1998. They would drop pve long before PvP. You want pve go bitch at 2k/gearbox (I think) to hurry up on borderlands 3.
-
The community ruined Destiny people don't know how to play a game and have fun lol
-
Lag. Lag ruined this game.
LFG to lag the shit out of the Crucible.
2 RepliesNice rounded argument! Destiny is a pve game? Well it seems to have almost as much to do in pvp as it does pve including its own endgame trials. Pvp community is aids? You should thank the pvp community mate for keeping this game relevant during the times of severe pve drought! Pvp community caused all my guns to get nerfed? OK so which gun can u not kill ads in pve now due to a nerf? Which subclass no longer has a use in pve? And don't tell me u ran blade in pve ever as it has always been Meh.

1 ReplyTtk ruined this game. In so many levels. It would take me all day to break it all down in a post where more then 10% of this up and down community to understand. There are many sides to this story. Many right as well as many wrong. But ttk was the start of the downfall. And the game has got worse from there. Community got worse. And has never been the same. But what can you do. Money over quality. Money over morals. Money to inslave. Welcome to 2017. Not to many people walk there own path. Its something that is dieing.

7 RepliesI like this game.

Fanboys ruined Destiny as well

2 RepliesAll I read is "I'm bad"

3 RepliesPvP did ruin the game, but not really because of the players. That's what they like, that's what they'll stand up for, and really everyone deserves the right to their opinion. Bungie took an activity that was a side game and built it up into something much larger. Thanks to a pie chart that I'm not sure was meant to be seen, it was revealed that people were spending more time at the tower than playing PvP. Old polls showed the PvP community between 10 and 15%. Then they got this brilliant idea that PvP is cheaper to maintain and create than new PvE content, so they pushed the he'll out of it. And all the while they had to nerf pretty much everything to create something sort of balanced because the original game plan was for gear to not be balanced. Bungie did it, I don't hold a thing against people for wanting to play what they like. The quite frankly idiotic elitism that PvP players have on the other hand, that's another story......

3 RepliesJust something a 0.8 would say👋
-
Excessive weapon rotation.

1.) bungie 2.) community 3.) pvp and pve not being separated
