44 RepliesEdited by LxGhostSniperxL: 3/10/2017 1:44:33 AM1. Raids should have updated with every DLC expansion. 2. All this is is a recycling of old content for a final money grab. (I'm assuming there will be some weekly Eververse package of some sort.) 3. All of this content will be irrelevant in 6 months. It was too little, too late. 4. I already have 95% of all the "new" gear they are "adding". Why should I have to play the same activities I've played 100 times just to get gear I've always had just to completely waste my time given this game will be irrelevant in months? Edit: Yes, keep defending Bungie's business practices. Can't wait for D2 to be exactly the same money grab with microtransactions and recycling of the same content every DLC. The only people defending this and the only people left on #Destiny nowadays are the clowns that ruined this game with nerfs, complaints, whining etc. Keep laughing while you can.

1 ReplySame I'm not one of those people that just complains as soon as Bungie does anything they ask for. I'm glad they are updating them and that they will seem refreshing

Would be super thrilled, but the release coincides with the new Mass Effect game, so I will not have time to play Destiny. 🙈

2 RepliesI'll be too busy playing mass effect andromeda to care about some lousy update

1 ReplyThe Progressive Aerobic Cardiovascular Endurance Run (PACER) is a multistage shuttle run created by Leger and Lambert in 1982.The PACER is designed to measure aerobic capacity, which is characterized by endurance, performance, and fitness. The obje ctive of the PACER is to run as long as possible while keeping a specified pace. Students run back and forth across a 20 -meter space at a pace that gets faster each minute. A point is scored for each 20 -meter distance covered. The test is easier in the be ginning but progressively gets more difficult. In comparison to distance running, the PACER is a more effective, fun, and easy way to measure aerobic capacity that encourages participation from all youth and is relatively easy to score and administer.

3 RepliesI hope they make it possible to go fishing in the update... I'd love to bring out my old reels and lures... Deep sea baby! Fish fry in the tower!

4 RepliesNot trying to be a buzzkill because there is enough of it on the forums, but this is just another time-extension. 1) They should have brought VoG and Crota's End up to current light a very, very long time ago instead of having us chasing our tail with holiday crap, re-skinned items, and the same content (insert taken or insert splicers) 2) Who gives a crap if Bungie will still support Destiny 1 in the foreseeable future, really? Is that their way of saying..hey all of these emblems and guns and stuff you will spend hours unlocking the next few months, they are useless for Destiny 2 but you can always load up Destiny 1 and check them out. 3) Bringing a weapon up to current light level is not the same as "a new version of a weapon at current light level". See the current Gjallarhorn for example. Yes it is 400 light, but an entirely different gun than its predecessor. The "hidden" stats and damage are way different, and my point is that if you think the new versions of Vex Mythoclast, Fatebringer, Fang of Ir'Ut, Word of Crota, Black Hammer, Vision of Confluence, etc are going to be as fun/powerful, and exactly like the old version, think again. 4) Again I don't know how I feel about a whole lot of brand new crap to collect knowing it will all be gone in a few months, AND I will go through the struggle of finding vault space once again. Players of games like this are collectors. It really would have been better if you just brought all raids and content to current light level, the raid weapons and gear left exactly as they are, and we just had fun with them for what they are. If something was over powered because of a primary burn, or some hidden stat, then we just rolled with it.

1 ReplyEdited by Fenrir_24: 3/10/2017 7:46:16 PMI'm looking forward to it as well. It gives my clan a reason to get back together and run some old content again. I understand why some people feel like it's too little too late, but let's be honest, it's a free update to keep people involved until Destiny 2 is released. Plus no micro transactions seem to be a part of this one. At least this shows that work has been going on in the development workshop. Who really cares if it's recycled? It costs nothing and provides some goals to shoot towards while we wait for what will hopefully be a huge upgrade with D2.

I for one
LOVE ANAL
1 Replylol -blam!-ing fanboys. It's recycled content and it won't even matter come Sept when the whole goddamn story is reset I'm pumped to the see the old raids relevant again, buts it's too little too late. People have only been asking for this for the past 2 years
-
1 ReplyU don't have to wait. It's already there..
-
Agreed, this update is bringing my old friends back to the game so I am very excited my self.
-
-
1 ReplyYeah I'm the same I can't wait, I'm getting the raid team back together already. I think this is probably the best thing we could of hoped for, given the resources the live team has. The new raid challenges, and then completing the book will keep me ticking over for a while, if not right up to destiny 2 release. This is a great update and got to give live team a lot of credit for this 👍🏼
-
1 ReplyI for one can't wait for my foot to kick your ass.
-
3 RepliesI'm happy for some content that is worth playing. I'm a bit pissed that I have done 80% of the record book before I've even opened it - was hoping for 13 pages of grind to keep me happy until September. oh well, back to other games .......
-
2 RepliesSame. I thought they could have been more creative with the record book. A lot of Day 1 players have done all of it already. I guess there will be little reason to grind
-
1 ReplyIt sounds like a lot of fun for pve players. I bet it will be much appreciated by them, and will help bridge their transition into D2.
-
1 ReplyWhen is it dropping?
-
1 ReplyAlong with the Vex mythoclast and necrochasm they need to bring the pocket infinity back just so we will have all exotics back ik it's not a major one just be awesome to see it return
-
The remake of the old raids comes way too late. PoE remake should have been the last update. It was always useless and therefore it would have made no difference if it was the last update. VoG and CE could have been fun for months. Now most people will probably do them once at most.
-
21 RepliesYou can do over 90% of it right now.. There is nothing new
-
17 RepliesAll they had to do was bring everything forward as we went along since the beginning of the game. Then we would already have this update. It baffles me that people are so stoked to re-do the exact same stuff we did a long time ago, and re-obtain the exact same gear we already obtained. Bungie has mastered the art of taking things away, then giving them back at a later date and calling it "new content"

You must be the only one.
