All aboard the BotW HYPE train
98/100 on metacritic with 56 reviews.
Been at work all day and have done absolutely nothing productive. All I've been doing is reading reviews, watching gameplay, and refreshing Reddit every 5 seconds.
So join me, #gaming, aboard the hype train. The future is nigh. In just under 12 hours the wait will be over.
Let's get Zelda trending on bnet, nerds.
Edit: BOOM. 12:15, just left Wallyworld. Two systems, two copies of BotW, one pro controller. I'm not getting any sleep tonight.

1 ReplyI sometimes wonder if Zelda has always gotten special treatment by reviewers just because it's Zelda. This series is how Final Fantasy and COD used to be. Just because it's <insert famous series here> it's automatic a 9-10/10. There's been a few very suspicious Zelda titles that still got ridiculously good reviews. For the most part, great games. Absolutely not 10/10 games imho. Good series for sure, but I am not paying that much money just for it.

All the reviewers I've seen review it are already big Zelda fans and as someone who has never played Zelda, would I appreciate it the same way? Basically, I'm skeptical of the hype.

[u]BUT[/u] when it comes to Nintendo consoles, you gotta give them some time and let the dust settle they could drop the price $50 on the Switch or release a model with some decent internal storage in 6 months from now.

I failed to beat TP (lol) before I pick up the switch. I also failed to afford botw. Oh woe is me. Lol I still got time to brush up on my zelda skills. Should I play links awaking? Or... ages or seasons.
