Yeah I know but that limits your build to certain exotics and subclass perks.

Well not exactly. The grasp of ahamkara provide 2 melee charges no matter the subclass. What warlock uses tlaloc that isn't running sunsinger anyways
-
Exactly what I'm talking. You HAVE to use claws, when theirs the gauntlets everyone uses called Ophidian Aspects. Also, some people like to use Touch of Flame or Angel of Light instead of Gift of the Sun
-
Correct. Except now ophidian aspects are pretty worthless
-
They still act as if QuickDraw and snapshot were built in, still a go-to exotic for all warlocks
-
No they don't do what quickdraw does. Try using a gun with the quickdraw perk. Very noticeable
-
Sorry I meant a nerfed-version of QuickDraw and snapshot built in. Using Ophidian vs not is still very noticeable whilst sniping.
-
But snipers can roll with quickdraw and it is essentially better as a perk. I mean if ophidian aspects are all you have then go for it. I'm not sure it is worth using over claws anymore or even the ram. We all know the benefits the ram provides no matter the subclass
-
I have Ram, Claws, all 3 subclass gauntlets, and Ophidian. I'm a sniper so ophidian is always great for me for switching between my sniper and primary, which are always changing. One weekend my sniper may have QuickDraw, the next it might have snapshot. Either way Ophidian still help with pulling out my primary, readying my sniper, and scoping in faster.
-
Well if they work for you great. I notice no difference in swap or aim speeds than without them so for me they are a wasted space. Granted before the patch I never took them off. Ever
