I must be the most casual casual in Destiny.
There's quite a lot I've never done in Destiny.
Haven't run WOTM.
Didn't do Kings Fall on hard mode.
Never been to the lighthouse.
Haven't got the dark spindle or sleeper simulant. Not got the exotic Khvostov. Never got the Jade Rabbit from an engram.
I've never beaten Skolas.
I've run a lot of strikes, done thousands of bounties, run hundreds of patrols and occasionally dip my toe in the PvP battleground of iron banner. And I'm a regular visitor to Archons Forge.
And people will tell me I lack ambition. That I'm not playing the game right. That I'm missing out.
Perhaps I am.
But when I've had a tough day at work I just want to shoot some stuff, run around, see if an engram drops but basically just chill.
I can't find the right clan to do the end game stuff although I have tried so I'm just taking things casual.
And if I'm having some fun and the games still keeping me interested, isn't that enough ?

It not your faltz they do not got all the systems in place , like you explain for you to have the chance, like 99% of the other games have now days, clans/guilds in the game, lobby chats in games, old raids go to match making, ever 6 months, ect . but it is what it is . yet it is nice , to just get into a pvp game and play fast , and not worry about anything, on the horrible day of work. but sucks , when stuff in the game makes it , more maddening then work.

1 ReplyThree characters at light Lv.400 and you imply that you have at least done a Raid sometime in the past. You have no right to call yourself casual. I've been playing since the Beta, I've never ever done a Raid ( it it doesn't have in game match making, then I can't partake in it ). I don't do PVP at all. I've spent the majority of my playtime in Destiny in Patrol ( grinding the Strike playlist in year 1 became to monotonous for me ). This is the proper definition of [b]CASUAL[/b].

6 RepliesI haven't done either of the last two raids. I was carried to the lighthouse once and other than that I don't even touch Trials. I just got my first character ever to max level. I've been in three clans but I can't find any that are active and drama free. I guess I'm just another casual solo player. I'd like to think there are more of us out there but who knows.

1 ReplyIve done all the raids, grinded for loot and spent many frustrating hours on LFG sites trying to find teams to run end game content. But my bread and butter, and what i enjoy the most is logging in and doing patrol bounties solo. Its chill, no pressure, no pissed off teammates, no afk strike players and no cheating, lagging crucible warriors. Just my guardian and great gun play. I do enjoy the interactions with fellow guardians while on patrol. We normally work together, dance together and go our seperate ways.

1 ReplyIf you use raze lighter it's pretty easy to solo skolas. Sword block when the taint is about to kill you and poof worst mechanic in the game rendered into a non issue.

Bungie designed this game so that you could play whatever mode you wanted and can ignore anything else that you don't care about. I'm glad you're enjoying what you enjoy about this game. Don't let these other lifers judge you. They are the kinds of people that farmed 1000 exotic engrams but in the same breath will tell you most exotics suck anyway. They are the ones that don't know how to have fun. See you in the forge!

You are so casual, no one knows you're out there. Haha 😆 But, you do what you want, you seemed fulfilled to me. At least you're not like the whiners out there that complain about the stuff they're not trying to get.

I played for the first time since October. I wore the starting armor and rahool mask. Had so much fun and could barely get kills.

1 ReplyThat definitely is enough. Play the game your way, and have fun doing so. I haven't completed WOTM yet but I'm still enjoying the game nonetheless whenever I play it. With the way Destiny is currently it's really important to have fun, otherwise the game becomes stale fast.
