Us 2%ers need an ammo Regen FUSION!!!
There's an option for all the snipers out there, and of course all the shotgun guys. Even the lonely side arms will pick up a lot more use. With this upcoming patch there is still no option for fusion rifle users which is a mere 2%...that usage stat will most likely fall even farther. I'm pretty sure that the words fusion rifle weren't even spoken on the stream as if it were just a distant idea from y1.
Give us 2% users an option for an ammo Regen fusion rifle. Or a primary fusion we can use in y3 and beyond.
Ps. .bring back pocket infinity (as is no tweaks needed)
I doubt I'd even use it, I just want the option like everyone else. My satan roll vortex is the best.
TL/DR: every special weapon class has a Regen or constant (primary version) ammo option aside from fusion rifles. Give us an option. Bring back pocket infinity while your at it.

just realized that they nerfed rangefinder ADS which will probably affect fusion rifles. Nerfed again unintentionally ? They didn't note that but it's possible that the blanket nerf to it will hurt fusions even more... seriously though. .ouch.

Instead Regens the one clip that it has over time. You get one awesome burst or spread out shots in the 4 shot clip.

What Bungie could have done as a middle ground was after death, lose all but 2 or 3 rounds of fusion rifle ammo (sort of like sidearms). It would still for a couple of shots, but the main focus would be primary weapons. The same sort of thing could have been applied to shotguns and snipers also. Leave 2 in the mag after death and you still have to use your primary 95 percent of the time.

The little bit of time I spend in Crucible is mostly done with a Primary. When I do use a Special though? It is a Fusion. Because of the business trip I am on, it may be close to 2 months before I get a trip into the Crucible again. When I do, I will have a Fusion in the Special slot. I would rather die while having fun with a Fusion in my hands, than die frustrated from not being fully capable with a Sidearm. I will admit that, over the last couple months, I have been putting in more and more time with Sidearms in PvE, sooo.... Who knows what I will be running in the next couple months. *shrugs*

1 ReplyIf you think about it, fusions are the ONLY weapon that make sense to have regenerating ammo. It's technically a battery/charge that it uses as ammo, so like, make a Solar fusion (Pocket Infinity) that has like, solar panels on it (Pocket Infinity actually kinda looks like that...) that regens ammo

1 ReplyAs someone who uses primaries a lot, im pretty stoked for the secondary changes. All the time i spent using my primary instead of rushing head first with a shotty might pay off now. Especially with the slight bump to high impact autos. I really like genesis chain/suros/abyss defiant archetype. And steel medula. Love that pulse. So yes, let the games begin. [spoiler]ill probably just run a sidearm for my secondary in case i feel like using one. That way i know ill have ammo.[/spoiler]

2 RepliesIts cool but like fusion rifles are going to be better than shotguns and if you have a god roll you can easily oneshot from big distances while moving around fast which makes the regan op if they made one

2 RepliesThey should bring back pocket infinity. Make it regenerate ammo and it can't reload. Only has one mag. If you get a kill, it instantly refills mag, if you miss or don't kill, you have to wait the regen cooldown.
