RIP bladedancer
As someone who doesn't use skip grenades, and uses fluxes/arcbolts, blade is completely destroyed now. The super was horrible, and now they nerfed it even more. Like cmon, just nerf skips, nobody asked for that nerf. Blade is so easy to shutdown now, and when the patch hits, blade is so easy to shutdown. Just because the bungie playtesters are so bad players that they can't shut them down, doesn't mean that they have to nerf it. Now voidwalker's and hammers melees are superior, and cauterize is so much better. What is bungie doing in their playtest labs? They didn't even nerf SKIP GRENADES! Bungie, you are completely ruining your PvP. The ammo change was horrible, it will promote camping in the back. People will camp on special boxes in trials to get their special ammo and then start to play

Show me where ANYONE in the community said Bladedancer, or more specifically, Blink and Hungering Blade are broken and need nerfs? I was watching a streamer and he made a very valid point on this. He said that if they were going to nerf the regen on Blades, why aren't they doing it to the Cauterise perk on Hammer Titans? Or the regen on Smash Titans? Literally the [i]only[/i] reason you can get 2 or 3 kills with Blade is because of health regen. RIP BLADE.

2 RepliesDude, chill. They haven't even released the full patch notes yet. There is still more things they have affected. They also likely nerfed hungering blade cuz of the special ammo nerf, and shotgun nerfs. Also, it was a nerf and buff. You gain more health when getting kills when your in your super, and the bonus health can carry over to your shield

I've never used blade dancer ever and I'm a year one veteran. Tbh besides skips it was fine as it was, confused about why they nerfed it

1 ReplyWell the shotgun nerf was an indirect buff to arc blade... very little can stop it now... my guess is they did this to make sure arc blade didn't rule crucible post patch.

It's not the best time to be a hunter, first they nerfed trip mines and knives which nobody asked for, then they nerf regen on blade, guess we can expect a nightstalker nerf next update.

Waaaaaahhhhh! BD is the easiest subclass to use. If you can't wreck shit without hungering blade, you're bad.

And other than Supers how were you getting shut down? Shotties/melee? Guess what , they got nerfed too. Especially now that shotties won't proc HS it's going to be harder to shut down someone using Hblade. You'll be fine.

I miss the glory days of BD. Back in vanilla Destiny in year one. My god was it Op and fun to use. Yes it needed nerfed, but they nerfed it into the ground not once, but multiple times and now this. The health regeneration was the blade's only saving grace from all it's other weak points. And even then regen didn't always help you, especially up against multiple enemies. Now we're just going to have a pathetic weak super that gets easily shut down every time unless you get lucky.
