The crucible ban is so unfair. I was a recent victim of multiple DDOS attacks last weekend in trials now, because my account was banned before, I'm now banned from crucible for 2 MONTHS. I'm so pissed off. What can I do??

1 ReplyI doubt you were DDOS-ed multiple times. Your whole network, not just Destiny or your console, would loose connection to the internet for a while. Sounds more like you have a crappy connection and/or setup and you got restricted for it. I've seen a few post the last week where people were perma-banned b/c they were restricted several times and still didn't fix their issues. I highly suggest you look through the network guide and make sure your connection is stable. If you don't and play again on a unstable connection after your current restriction is up, you'll probably get perma-banned.

There are Account Restrictions and Bans in Destiny. Account Restrictions are temporary, while Bans are permanent. Bungie does not discuss or overturn either of these Restrictions or Bans. All you can do is wait it out. Destiny Account Restrictions and Banning Policy: https://www.bungie.net/7_Destiny-Account-Restrictions-and-Banning-Policies/en/Help/Article/11929 When being Restricted or Banned from a certain activity, you may also lose access to specific items and gear associated with that activity.
PLEASE NOTE: When losing access to specific activities, you may also lose access to gear and items associated with that activity. This can include the following: • Weapons • Armor • Consumables • Bounties • Missions • Vanity items
Bungie investigates before they ban or restrict. If you were restricted, it was due to a poor connection, not a DDOS. Also, DDOS attacks will knock your entire network offline for a decent amount of time, not just kick you out of a game. If you just were disconnected, it's on your end.
