Will Y1 Iron Banner Weapons Work in Current Iron Banner?

23 RepliesTried my Red Hand IX with rifled barrel and LiTC last night for part of a game but it dropped me down to 364 LL and I was losing every gun fight. IMO, the droop in LL is too much to over come most times to make using any Y1 weapons any fun. Too bad because I'd love to break out Pocket Infinity or Necrochasm again.

1 ReplyAfter hitting rank 5, my tradition is usually to throw on my entire year one, FWC warlock set, and see how I stack up, using nothing but original, year 1 gear and weapons. The best I've done was using only pocket infinity and getting 19 kills....that was like 5 iron banners ago lol.

5 RepliesA sniper with 37 impact will always kill with a headshot (regardless of the snipers light) and the rest of the armor is close to max light. This is old bro.

2 RepliesI personally think the year one/two Iron Banner weapons and armor sets look the best. Sure, they're just reskinned generic gear, but I think they look a lot better than the Rise of Iron Iron Banner gear.

1 ReplyI think that the old year 1 weapons should be in the loot table. Maybe from bounties or even end game rewards. Since you can get year 1 Iron Banner armor from Dusty Engrams. A missed opportunity to bring back old favorites. Mine was Gheleons Demice for sure.
