There's no way it isn't. The rate of fire plus the damage output plus no slow reload time like with other LMG's plus the long range? I'm sick of scrubs spamming these crutch weapons. It seems like every match has at least one player spamming Devotion.
Since I got so fed up with it I decided to test something. I switched out my Flatline with the Devotion during a match just to see for myself if it was as powerful as I thought. Sure enough I was right. Exactly right. As soon as I picked up this gun no other pilot killed me for the rest of the match. Hell, as soon as I spawned in and spotted enemies I was already on a killing spree. I think I had over 30 kills in that match alone. No other gun could beat the Devotion.
This just proves how much of a noob weapon this is. After that match I switched back to my Flatline (of course I still have a class with Devotion specifically to put those spammers in their place but I don't use it often). Respawn needs to balance this gun. It's ridiculous

1 ReplyIt's pretty strong, and annoying but idk about overpowered. They should just adjust the Hemlock and remove A-Wall altogether imo. Then see how the Devotion plays. Either way I'm sure it'll get touched next patch due to feedback.

2 RepliesIf you can't beat them use them. I like how people come up with these moral codes about certain weapons or Titans.

30 RepliesIt's really good, but so is the G2, volt, car, r201, hemlock, alternator, Lstar...do you see the trend?

10 RepliesEdited by Psychic Donuts: 1/18/2017 4:12:01 AMThe Hemlock is the main pilot weapon meta and the devotion and r-201 are secondary. Respawn will need to nerf the hemlock and then (through intenternal testing hopefully) nerf the devotion and r-201 relatively. Same story for Tone and then Legion. As someone who is Devotion gen 3 (I used it through out all of pilot gen 1) it can be balanced sometimes but it's damage output is just too much for some maps' complexity.

Edited by Melvin8: 1/18/2017 11:10:08 AMThe devotion is extremely accurate and powerful. At range it can easily compete with pretty much any gun. As far as the ramp up, it is fairly quick. Once it is fully ramped up, good luck trying to take the person down. The only option at that point is flanking unless they just can't aim. Hemlok and devotion both need balancing for sure.

4 RepliesAnother cry for nerfs. Who all remembers the awp in counter strike? I do. Did it ever get nerfed....? No. People adapted.

1 ReplyIt is pretty strong. I haven't seen a game that had an overpowered lmg in a long time so I don't really care too much tbh. It is way too good with a-wall though

8 RepliesEdited by Doctor Electric: 1/17/2017 10:15:20 PMIt's really not (I have 15Days in total usage, I have a right to argue how wrong you are). Titanfall is still a game about the first shots. The Devotion needs to fire off ~28 rounds to ramp up fire rate, have your rounds fire in a straight line and stabilize the weapon. In that time, more accurate weapons such as literally every single SMG / Shotgun / Assault Rifle can literally burn your ass down in fewer rounds. If you think that gun is overpowered, you're actually shit at the game. Every weapon is viable.

Not really. You can use any gun and do just as good.

Edited by SeneschalGrigori: 1/17/2017 6:46:03 PMIIRC they nerfed that one already too. (may be wrong, I don't remember as it's been awhile) It was my 2nd weapon unlock after getting to use it. I terrorized matches with it. I figured that I wouldn't like it since it's an LMG but it simply rips people apart.
