I hate how youtubers and twitch players complain about CODIW
I keep hearing "I hate this style of call of duty" when theyve been playing it for the last 2 years now cause IW is just copy and paste of BO3

Series fatigue they really need to consider setting it aside for a year or 2 shooter fatigue set in for me a couple years ago so i dont mind IW but i also dont play it a lot

I personally think MW2 was the last good COD. BO3 and IW are both just Titanfall copies (and bad ones at that.) In fact I haven't bought a COD game since AW.

I'm fine with the futuristic stuff, but the hit detection, ttk, and paid boxes? -blam!- cod now, multiplayer game it a bad name.

That tends to happen when you player a series of a game for a long time. For example, in the soulsborne community. It is highly frowned upon to use "broken" or "OP" pvp weapons. Yet, the purpose is to be effective as possible. I know I might get flak for that, but seriously. Who doesn't enjoy mowing down fight clubs with said weapons.

1 ReplyIt's not the "style" that bugs people. It's everything else in the game. The TTK is *way* too quick for how fast you move around. It's a "I see you first, you're dead" type of gameplay. Even with the added movement systems, it makes them null because of how fast the TTK is. It promotes camping, and less skill. It works in the older CODs because it relies heavily on tactical gameplay, where camping is an effective strategy and part of the game due to its pace. Add to that all of the boring "specialists" in comparison to BO3 and the harder to acquire kill steaks that aren't that great, and the OP variants of weapons that take forever to get unless you wanna cough up the money, making the game even more broken, and then you just have a game that just isn't that fun overall.

14 RepliesBurnout. If I cook you your favorite meal for one day....its a treat you'll be excited over. If I force you to have to eat that same meal every night for two years.....you're going to grow to hate it...and you're going to be ready to strangle me by the end.of it. Activision is paying the price for saturating the market for so long....and cranking out games too fast for them to be able to take the temperature of their fans and the market....and to being reduced to having to copy their competition rather than innovating. Infinite Warfare is a good game....and if it were anything BUT a Call of Duty game, people would be praising it. But the problem IS that it IS a CoD game....and people are too burned out on the series as a whole to look at the game on its own merits.

Youtubers and twitch streamers complain about the style because they really don't like it. They keep playing it because they would be playing the same game for years and people would get tired of it. A youtuber called m3rkmus1c hates supply drops so -blam!-ing much, yet he still buys them to bring new content to his videos. He has said multiple times that if he wasn't doing youtube, he wouldn't be buying supply drops. But yeah I agree, IW is literally a reskin of BO3.

3 RepliesI bought Black Ops 3 instead of Infinite Warfare, actually had a good time playing it. I hold back because I wasn't too sure whether to get this or BO3, but I'm happy I got BO3 plus it was on sale
