What's more of a waste of money?
I'm trying to figure out what to waste my money on.
EDIT 1: I'm not actually buying either one of these, I just want to see which is more of a waste of money.
EDIT 2: THIS POLL IS NOT ABOUT WHICH IS BETTER! Let me make that very clear now. This poll is just about which is more of a waste of money. So say if you already have an Xbox one or a PS4, would it be more of a waste of money to get an Xbox one S or a PS4 pro. If your still confused then just comment your opinions on the consoles.

Okay i have xbox one,s,ps4,ps4 pro Lets compare them: Graphics:ps4 pro(even the original ps4 has better graphics than the s) Interface look:xbox 1 Interface speed:ps4 and ps4 pro Installing discs time:ps4 is waaaay faster Booting: ps4 is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay faster Number of exclusives:ps4 has waaaaay more Quality of exclusives: PS4!!! Which one has bigger community :ps4 Which one is winning in sales:ps4 The only reason xbox one s is winning is because this forum's majority of players are xbox owners because of halo Guys, just admit it ps4 is better I have a $3000 gaming pc and ps4 pro and an xb1 s And i literally have no reason to boot the xb1 s since every microsoft exclusives are running better on my pc Ps4 has won this generation

Both are a waste but I think xbox is supposed to just basically be a slim? But PS4 has 4K Other than that I wouldn't even touch either

As far as I know xbox one s is the small version of the xbox one like the playstation 4 slim. On the other hand the ps4 pro had a little bit of an upgrade on the specs. Some of the games are finding difficulty when patched to run better on the ps4 pro because they were designed for the ps4 but Im sure games that are going to be released this year will work better. After a brief research I found that non of then are worth buying if you have the previous console so far but if I have to decide I would go with the xbox one s as the least worth it.

5 RepliesPS4 Pro is $150 more than the XB1S, and doesn't offer much in terms of performance upgrades. Hell, some games run WORSE on the Pro hardware vs the base hardware, and not enough games are even taking advantage of the upgrade, so you're in essence just buying another full priced PS4. That's not even mentioning the cost of a 4K TV to take full advantage of the "4K" (almost but not quite) gaming offered by the Pro. XB1S is worth it if you're looking to get an XB1 and don't already have one, but otherwise it's also a waste of money.

The Xbox One S is a more powerful Xbox One!" That's sort of true and also misleading. Consoles do gradually get more powerful as new components are used. An Xbox One is 2015 was marginally more powerful than a launch box I'm sure. So I guess if we're talking which is a smaller upgrade and therefore the bigger waste of money then it's the Xbox One S. I mean we can quantify the power of these things and know a PS4 Pro is more powerful than a PS4 than the slim version of the Xbox One is to the bigger black box OG model. Now would I recommend upgrading to either at this time? No.

Definitely the Xbox 1 S. It offers no benefits over the standard PS4 other than a UHD bluray drive. People don't even buy movies anymore unless it's like Pixar or Harry Potter. Standard PS4 has HDR. I recently bought a PS4 Pro and I enjoy it very much. Games run much smoother and look a lot better. It's a good console and is only a waste if you don't have a good tv
