Bungie i could do with a reply here as one of my clanmates and my second in command has apparently been banned from crucible for a week.
And neither of us know why. He's definately not a cheater or a lagswitcher and really doesnt play crucible enough or have a high enough KD to be considered a cheater. Our whole clan is really angry and having put in a ridiculous amount of time into this game we think its unfair that ine of the most honest members of our clan has beern banned for nothing. His gamertag is cageybarnes
Any chance you can investigate and hopefully fix this cuz really this ban is unjust and completely out of order

2 RepliesPlease note that Bungie does not discuss or overturn restrictions or bans. Please refer to Bungie's DESTINY ACCOUNT RESTRICTIONS AND BANNING POLICIES for all relevant information.

13 RepliesI can see you've been disrespectful to those whose came here to help, and flat out ignored what they said. So let me be crystal clear: 1: I do not work for Bungie. 2: They don't discuss, or overturn restrictions or bans. FINAL 3: Connection quality is more than just Up/Down speeds. Did he run any packet loss/latency tests while play the game? 4: Salty losers reporting you does not get you banned. It does get Bungie to investigate you. If they see that it was just Salty players, they'll ignore it. If not, a restriction occurs. 5: The restriction is the warning. It's telling him "Hey, your internet isn't that great. Why don't you take a break and figure it out?" 6: Don't respond with "This is BS" or "We pay your wages, we have a right to know!" No, you don't. You signed Bungie's EULA and ToS. They don't have to show you anything. And no, you can't bring a class-action suit against them.

1 ReplyLol unjust banned from a game...people are being unjustly executed and you CRY about some cheating asshole

1 ReplyYou cant just ask for details about why someone else was banned. Its none of your business. This is a private matter between him and bungie. He was likely provided a basic reason for the banning such as poor connection quality, cheating, etc. If he does not wish to share that reason with you he doesnt have to.
-
4 RepliesHe was probably banned because of bad connection. I have experienced this many times with other people. If enough people use the in-game reporting system to report someone for bad connection you will get banned. If you want to change that stop asking for a reason why. Partly because it is probably in terms of service not to respond. You probably should start advocating the removal of reporting people via connection. Then again the argument could be made that since the destiny game case says interent required. That could also imply that you have to a good internet connection to play, and will be punished for not having one. I understand that it is stupid and counterproductive, but that is how bungie handle these things since the halo days.
