Try out a fusion rifle in Iron Banner
I recommend Saladins Vigil! I've done some iron banner, enough to to complete the bounties on my main character, and I've been using Vigil. Usually I scrub it up with a sniper but it' was getting boring getting shotgun Warriored left and right. I decided to pop on the fusion rifle for this iron banner and it's literally the most fun I've had playing pvp in months. The moment when you fusion that punk ass warlock mid slide, ready to shotgun thunder snipe you , is too good.
Note: unless you're a God tier sniper, you're only hurting your body count if you don't use a shotty, but the fusion was so fun change from both sniper and shotty.

Got hate mail with PlanC like I did back in the Olden Days. Couple of one shot double kills. Master blaster at least once a game was normal. Fusion is very very good against the current meta :)

All I really run in pvp is fusions. Never been a huge shorty fan. And I couldn't snipe the broad side of a barn only 10 feet away. So. Fusion Frenzy for me

Pretty much always use a fusion unless it's shotgun supremacy. It's either Vigil (rifled barrel & rangefinder) or Plan C for me.

Dude, I wrecked so many people with the Ironwreath-d while playing on my Titan. Since last weapons rebalance sidearms feel soooo good to use. Though I did use a fusion while playing on my warlock. I forgot how good the Plan-C is on clutch moments! I did use a shotgun on my hunter, though I didn't want to follow the meta and instead I popped out the Invective. Man, not having to worry about special crates is awesome.

3 RepliesSaladin's Vigil with: Braced Frame Enhanced Battery/Agility +2 Rangefinder Been using it for about 2 months. It's beautiful against shotties. Wizard 77 is also good if you can get one with Rangefinder and a stability perk.

Used telesto a lot this IB. Really helps when people cluster around the spark or if you are defending the rift

I didn't read the entire thread, but the Trials of Osiris fusion rifle STELLAR VESTIGE has been completely melting people during Rift!!

Fusions have definitely found their place amongst the new meta. The increase of Shotgun users directly resulted in a spike of Fusion users, specifically as a counter to the former. Kraftyy was haulin' some serious tail with Plan C when I watched him play earlier this week.

Susanoo is awsome - 3 elemental types and a narrow spread makes it like a snipe and fantastic at distance.
