Just think how cool it would be to have Ahamkara subclasses. Post your ideas down below!!!!
Some of u guys are saying this doesn't make sense since subclasses represent an element so maybe the ahamkara subclasses represent a new element like poison or decay. Also perhaps humanity learnt these subclasses during the golden age but the knowledge of these subclasses was lost during the collapse, so u go on a quest to unlock these subclasses by perhaps channeling the ahamkaras power. Since ahamkara could be dragons of the light this technically makes sense.

Well, you just demonstrated that you know jack shit about this games lore.

36 RepliesDear please remove the lore tag, this doesn't fit with the lore and is a bad idea. Subclasses are based on elements of light, not an alien monster that's extinct or poison
-
Move this to either classes or community please. Just because it contains the ahamkara doesn't mean it's lore

Edited by Swiftlock: 11/14/2016 6:17:33 PMThe Ahamkara were evil, dark dragon-worm-things that seduced people (and made them go insane) by granting them wishes in exchange for servitude, so the Guardians proceeded to exterminate them and then use their body parts as armor. It's safe to say that having them be a playable class wouldn't make much sense.

No. The ahamkara are related to the hive worm gods and are darkness not light based creatures. Also no one existed to weaponize light during the golden age. That wasn't until rasputin Shot down the traveler when it tried to escape during the collapse. Because that's the point at which ghosts were made.

1 ReplyThis isn't lore.

3 RepliesUmmm that's like asking for a unicorn or panda subclass...

Edited by Frazriel: 11/14/2016 8:27:44 AMI mean it'd be cool af(but then I'm a hiveeaboo) ((get it?)) but try to post things about subclasses in the classes tag, ye? (Edit) During the golden age? What

1. Why is this in lore? 2. During the Golden Age? You mean in a time when Guardians didn't even exist?

Edited by Capitán Mojado: 11/14/2016 1:41:30 AMIf you use the logic of our enemies are using different weapons and technologies that aren't light/dark based, so we need to adapt new abilities to compensate than yes. Going based off bungie's light energy subclasses than this wouldn't make sense. So we haven't encountered anything that would push us to find a different option besides the travelers light.

11 RepliesEdited by DigitalNinja: 11/13/2016 5:02:19 PMThat... what? I don't.. I can't... that.... doesn't... make... sense... Brain shuts down out of confusion

28 RepliesIt just won't work. See all subclasses are based on light (solar being the most pure, arc being lightening and void is the abcense of light) ahamkara's don't have anything to do with light
-
10 RepliesThere's no way because an Ahamkara is a creature not a form of energy/light. This literally makes no sense.
-
8 RepliesThe subclasses we have now are a form of light. Ahamkara is not a form of light. It's not possible.
The luckiest seven you will ever meet
2 RepliesI would like darkness subclasses, but ahamkara would be pretty cool as well
