To the kids that think capping three zones is a good idea.
Stop, just stop. You flip spawns and feed the other team kills and points. Hold two zones and that's it!!

had it last night holding 2 zones and they all go running for the 3rd to try and spawn trap the next thing you know spawns flipped and im there on my own trying to hold 2 zones and kill them as they come THAT WORKED WELL !!! , spawn flipped lost both zones and the match this happend over and over until i got on the team chat and shouted just hold 2 zones ffs let them have A and we will win the match jesus fekin christ , i dont know if they understood or realised but they all pulled back and started to pick them off as they came out of there spawn and our score just shot up and we had an easy win.

If I'm in a fireteam. Sometimes we will cap all three. On matchmaking it's just stupid.

6 RepliesWe play to win the game. Why on earth you be happy with 2 when you have Dominate the board. Maybe it's just me, but I like imposing my Guardians will in the control. My fireteam moves like wolves when we smell blood. I love Shaxx saying "you control all zones". We make sure we have our comms up and calling out the D-Bags (shotgunners) and diapers (for the snipers)

Yep. Idiots that go for 3 zones do more harm then good when you are running with randoms. If you are in a fireteam, you may be able to coordinate it. But if you are with randoms, stick to 2. Also, try defending a zone every now and then.

It works if you have a good team. If it's just one guy trying to triple cap all the zones, then that gets annoying.

3 zone capping is like the Bungie servers. When it's good it's great but it's usually bad.

1 ReplyYou cap 2 zones to control the spawns. And always have map control with 2 zones capped you keep the other team at bay and spawning away. And you're always defending instead of on the offensive side trying pick lanes and push even when you're out numbered. 2 zones set you up for a win if you can hold them. You'll be surprised how games go by a lot smoother when your team knows and understands the situation.
