I'm bored with snipers, I'm tired of fusions, and shotguns are dead to me. I want to use a sidearm, but it seems like the only usable ones are the Dreg's Promise and The Trespasser. I want to know, is there a decent legendary sidearm I can use, and if so, what rolls should it have?
Thank you so much to everyone who responded! I'll look into the most mentioned sidearms on this list.

4 RepliesEdited by Zanithos: 11/8/2016 8:30:33 AMNew Monarchy and the Vanguard both have excellent sidearms, and from what I hear, the Iron Banner does as well. New Monarchy's sidearm has low impact, but the highest fire rate. The Vanguard sidearm has a low fire rate, but high impact, and from what I hear FWC and the Iron Banner have sidearms that sit somewhere in the middle. I have idea about the Trials one, but I've heard the raid sidearm is underwhelming. There's also the Queen's Choice, which is Y3 Vestian, and a Challenge of Elders exclusive sidearm that looks like a potato, so that's an option. As far as exotics go, Trespasser is kinda lame, and only functions in very specific situations in PvP, so it's not worth it. Dreg's Promise is still basically cheating though, so feel free to make some kids cry if you've got it.

Id say there is no "best",it's all about the rolls ,mag size ect, personally I prefer the suppressed ones like iron wreath,in terms of rolls I'd say high caliber rounds, some damage mod like reactive reload or crowd control & rangefinder, zen moment are good to.

I really enjoy my Havoc Pigeon with crowed control, feeding frenzy and appended magazine. You can still get it from special engramms (cryptach). And Tresspasser is a beast!

The Jabberhakke by far. Dominates. With it's God roll perks. It's a monster. My opinion the next runner up is the Havoc Pigeon. Love these two weapons.

The ironwreath from year 2 iron banner was awesome but i don't think you can get it anymore, other than that the raid sidearm seems to work pretty well.

The Wormwood - FWC
-
Ironwreath-D and the Crows Eye. The raid sidearm is also solid, but I'm not crazy about that archetype.
-
The old jabbewookie as I call it, hotswap rangefinder high cal rounds is sweet.
-
Wormwood
-
Ps I hate dregs promise
-
Queens Choice, there isnt really a close second either.
-
Queens Choice is my favorite sidearm, it base stats already outplay the others.

I think teacup tempest is an excellent substitute for the trespasser.
-
Vestian dynasty shreds.

3 RepliesEdited by Kazz0ng: 11/8/2016 7:38:22 AMmost Hakke sidearms are pretty good. I prefer the Havoc Pidgeon personally. but Ironwreath, Jabberhakke, and (not a hakke) the wormwood are pretty good as well. as for perks... HCR is pretty much the go-to perk I think, as it allows you to compete just a little better when getting shot at close range, which is where sidearms can actually do anything, so it helps them excel even more in this area. on my havoc Pidgeon I have crowd control, spray and play, and quickdraw. so I can get a kill, and up my lethality and decrease my downtime waiting to reload. but any reload perk is good, and anything that increases damage is good.

Jaberhakke Sure shot Feeding frenzy High call rounds Zen moment :)
