No hate, no salt, no judgement, but Titans are now the crucible class.
Year one was the year of the blade dancer, year two was the year of the sunsinger. Now it's the Titan meta. This time, instead of a specific subclass, it's a skill that they all have: increased control. A good Titan skater can ignore all agility stats and have max armor and the most mobility in the game. Add dunemarchers or twilight garrison, and you have a repertoire of movement skills that rivals year one blink, without sacrificing armor or recovery.
The juggernaut may get the most hate, but all Titans have the ability to not only tank the most damage, but also the best ability to escape damage, disengage from losing encounters, and position for flanking maneuvers.
Not asking for nerfs, just stating what we all already know. Constantly gutting other subclasses has left us with one option that has the best of all worlds.
I am curious how OG Titan mains feel about this. Do you come across as Titan hipsters now? "I was a Titan before Titan was cool."

The only character I really played was my Titan in year 1 and most of year two. Now that Titans are the meta, I changed to a warlock.
-
Stop it. Any good player knows that Warlocks are the meta.
-
-
Say this to my hunter.
-
My main is a titan and he feels powerful in pvp and pve. But... I can't get behind this "titan is meta" statement while warlocks have Storm Trance. That super lasts forever. Still, it is hilarious to go all Rambo with my CQC striker, only to come face to face with a storm lock. The next 30 seconds consist of me running away like a little girl, attempting spinning snipes that I don't have nearly enough talent to pull off.
-
Titans are probably the meta in Supremacy. Especially juggernauts.
-
Ive been rolling Titan since alpha and I am not happy about this Titan meta you speak of.
-
4 RepliesLol I wish that was true. In about 90% of my trials games I have faced maybe 10 Titans. Everyone else playing triple hunter or warlock or a combination of both of them. Quit pretending to be a snowflake, hunter and warlocks will forever be superior with their abilities.
-
I feel proud for playing as a Titan since Day 1, even we we sucked ass in Crucible.
-
Nope.
-
I still see way more Hunters and Warlocks
-
1 ReplyVoidwalker/Stormcaller is currently the meta. Especially with Ophidian Aspect.
-
Lol. People will constantly complain. These people just need to improve
-
I've used a striker titan since the first day I started. I don't run juggernaut or lightning grenades. I don't shoulder charge. I don't do these things for any particular reason other than I never liked those perks. It will be another sad and disappointing day if/when Strikers are nerfed for being overused.
-
1 ReplyThis is what happens when you nerf things that are simply frustrating....rather than OP. Striker Titans got buffed. Sunbreakers were brought down from being OP. Titan Skating made running shotguns with Force Barrier very strong. Twilight Garrison has made Titan skating even more effective. While OTOH, other subclasses have faced significant nerfs in the last six months. Are Titans OP? No. Are they very strong right now? Yes.

Edited by Knarf: 10/20/2016 8:15:30 PMPretty dumb post tbh, year one was blade dancer and sunsinger, for the first part of year two it was sunbreakers but it's mostly been max range melee storm callers lol Oh and garrison in no way resembles year one blink, I don't think we were playing the same game. Jug has always been in the game and people just started using it now because bungie gutted shoulder charge.

2 RepliesEdited by PapaSohan: 10/20/2016 8:14:41 PMI have mained Titan since Beta. I tried out juggernaut a few times and I have always hated the perk. Recently I have heard a lot of people complaining about the juggernaut perk... maybe it's just me or my playstyle but I have had zero problems facing people who use this. Generally when I see people using it I go, "Oh look, an easy kill."
-
4 RepliesI'm seeing many more blade dancers in recent weeks
-
Stopped reading when you said "Year of the Sunsinger". They nerfed Sunsinger to the point where they were barely used (even though I used it some). It was used in trials a bit, but that is about it. Year 2 was the year of the Warlock, and year three is still the year of the Warlock.
so far...
2 RepliesSunsingers were never meta, they were good, but sunbreaker was meta early ttk, then nightsalker, for a little it was stormtrance, it was good, but not outstanding, sunsingers were good in trials, but out of that they were never used
-
Hunters my friend, hunters.......
-
1 ReplyEhh, shadestep gets on my nerves more than Titan skating.
-
4 RepliesVoidwalkers... *drops mic*
-
OG titan main here, I always dominated with titans, defenders were fun. But nothing will beat that feeling of using paragrine greaves and running away from a chasing blade dancer to just turn around and clock him one for my lighthouse win
-
2 RepliesI have never used juggernaut and I have been here since the beta and I don't plan on starting anytime soon :)
-
I'm fine with titans tanking, but having more speed than hunters.... thats an issue.
