But there isnt enough general items in the game to fill the vault (unless you have like dreadnaught keys/runes and every kind of telemetry from year 1 I deleted that crap) :/
I just cant comprehend this. I even have 2000 spinmetal but still have like 10 free spots left. I even have the raisins and chocolate from last year.

It was a fair chunk of Wormspore that I had no need in using on Eris Morn cus I've been lucky getting Artifacts without ranking her. Ghosts with different rolls for different builds. Telemetries I have/had a lot of as well, but once again, didn't need them. Once again, I held onto mats and other general gear because a month after April update in TTK i had everything I needed. With new expansion on horizon, it didn't make sense to use materials and other items with new gear coming out. Even more so I held onto stuff until hard mode launched in case there were any gear or economy changes. I'm an inadvertent prepper. I don't horde items, but I don't use them unless I actually need to. I have 2 pages of sublime engrams I'm cracking open after work today to get an optimum Jovian Guard set for my titan. I hope this clears things up.

Close enough, but engrams and ghosts dont go in the general section they go in armor.... thanks though.

Engrams don't, i was just saying I have a lot of armor vault space full. Ghosts on the other hand, are always going in my general tab...

hmmmm.... *goes to check Mein got! you are correct about the ghosts. Wow thats dumb. I have 13 ghosts right now but i just have them stored across my 3 characters, i never noticed how the vault takes them. Same with artifacts. And yes my armor and weapon tabs are completely full too.... I am at 47/72 slots with 2+ stacks of materials all of the glimmer consumables, 4 types of telemetries, the 2 sparks of light, jack o lanterns, raisins, and bats, rep boosters, moldering shards, and 1 skelton key. I keep all artifacts and ghosts on my person as well as ammo synths, runes, keys, and 3oC

No worries. I try to keep my characters free now. With engrams dropping like rain from the raid, forge and strikes, I don't want anything getting deleted from postmaster.

If you have the ability to be near a computer while playing there is a great chrome extension called destiny item manager (DIM). It has a nice function that auto transfers engrams to the vault while farming so you never have to worry about anything going to the postmaster (as long as you have vault space)

oooh, this requires some looking into. Thanks.
