Anybody else have their K/D plummet from this IB?

I would be a lot better but if I see a crest I go to grab it no matter what.

I've been doing decent. One game I managed a 6.4 with Stormcaller. The Unbent Tree with the right rolls is a beast.

i wouldn't know. My KD always sucks. I can't help but going leeroy jenkins EVERYTIME.

mine has, and i am grateful. I never really thought that my KD was a good indication of my skill level, and because mine was a bit higher than most, i constantly get matched with tryhard sweaties that i just absolutely cannot compete with in gunfights. Hopefully SBMM puts me more against players that i can actually compete with more frequently, because right now, for the most part, its maybe 1 out of every ten games i do well, 3 more i do ehhh in, and the last 6 i get wrecked in.

I hadnt payed much attention to my kd ever i just knew it was like .7 or somethin across the board but now we are positive everywhere but the warlock...of course ill stop playing pvp again until the next iron banner where it will once again plummet..

I went up just a tad on all characters myself. We all know( or should know) that desticle wants everyone the same, round 1 k/d and 50/50 on wins losses. The MM and damage ref are making sure of it. Seemed in supremecy the main lopsided part was the MM pitting fireteam against rando a majority of the time, ( and there were plenty of fireteams in the mix to keep them against each other). The damage referee though was at a disadvantage in the supremecy though, cluster fuuk of guardians in the same spot, hard to manipulate the hit detections, and on top of that( as much as it tried to dick us out of picking up crests) the crests put a hinder on the ref being relavant imo. I did notice( maybe some guardians can chime in on this) that when ahead, or especially if you were whipping arse, the crests required you standing over, or running across several times. When not whipping or top of board, seemed I never had a problem.

What's the big deal? The less you care about your damn K/D the more fun you'll have playing Crucible.

I stayed about the same around 1.20. Yesterday was the first day I played crucible in about 11 months. I was surprised at how much loot was given out.

I've been getting around a 1.4+ k/d every game this IB so I don't have that problem...

4 RepliesI suck at pvp but extremely suck at supremecy. I think I'm averaging around .3 in iron banner. I absolutely hate this game mode. I usually main a shotgun so I thought maybe I would do ok but the skill based match making keeps putting me in with MLG players for some reason. I don't even enjoy playing it anymore. Typically I have a $hity game and then next one I'll do ok but I'm consistently doing $hity in this game mode. I think I only need 1 more win on my Titan to reach rank 5 and then I'll never pay it again. I broke a brand new controller i bought a few days ago because I can't get a kill. Doesn't matter if it is point blank in the face with a shotgun it only takes away half the enemies shield. Keep getting killed by a shotgun from 15 feet away but mine at pint blank doesn't do anything.
