Like or whatever if you agree... Not that Bungie will, you know, DO anything about it but whatever.
Gotta find my people.
F**k the Hive.
EDIT: Bunch of people aren't getting what i meant... I don't want to play fukin Fallout. I also meant more along the lines open world, with more exploration(For the 343th time, something Like Star Citizen or Elite Dangerous).
Seriously guys, the games gotten worse and worse with each dlc(TTK wasn't horrible, I liked the story missions, but now just killing the cabal and the -blam!-ING taken over and over is just straight-up boring.)
TDB was okay aswell.

1 ReplyNo like mass effect andromeda?

36 RepliesDestiny and No Man's Sky share the same problem; both lack what the other offers. I wish they'd fuse and become one. Add in some destruction physics similar to Red Faction and Battlefield series, as well as some more complex gameplay and you have one hell of a game. Imagine being able to fly your ship in Destiny across the entire surface of each planet and moon large enough to warrant interest, and maybe a few asteroids for good measure. Imagine flying that ship into a Fallen space pirate ambush, and having to dodge insane amount of pew pew lasers and such while fighting them off. Your ship gets damaged so you crash it into the side of the Ketch, sucking several(dozen) or so enemies into the vacuum of space where they are useless in battle but not dead(space suits). You then disembark your smashed ship to find many more Fallen are pouring into the halls around your entry, and that a shield has been erected to seal the outside wound so to speak. You slaughter you way through countless hordes of Dregs and Shanks, with Vandals constantly harassing you when you aren't dodging all the pissed off Captains. The slog is merciless but you manage your way up to the Kell's throne, and the battle for survival continues. Enemies of all types and gear setups flood the room, while the Kell highly aggressively pursues your destruction. You wish you had a fireteam right about 10 minutes ago but even so you press on, cleaving great swathes in the sea of hissing spiders with your longsword. The Kell summons more servitors, because why not right? The shotgun you brought is coming real handy right now, as the enemies all vie for your annihilation writhing around trying to get a shot at you. The Kell is still in hot pursuit, and he looks like he wants to eat your soul, if you had one that is. Your a killing machine, you bow to no one not even death itself( when the Darkness isn't present that is). You bring out the blade once more, and with three true strikes you leave the Kell with less arms and more parts than before. His head rolls to the leftover stragglers' feet, and they roar in anger. This fight isn't over yet. The edge is keen, and the ship bay is not too far. You clear a path to it, hoping at least one Skiff is available or else you might have to kill every Fallen on the Ketch to commandeer it. Upon arrival you see indeed a Skiff is available, but it appears to be in the process of undocking. Perfect, one less step for you to do. You hurl yourself at the vessel, and ready your primary of choice. Broken Skiff is worse than broken ship, better keep it safe. You fight not just for yourself, but for the metal beast which will take you from this hell. But then you see them, and a pang of cold fear washes over you. The Archon, Prime Servitor, with a swarm of Barons trailing behind them. Grenade after grenade, rocket after rocket, you bring the Barons to an explosive end, but the Archon and Prime still remain. You unleash the power of the Light, bringing great pain and scathing brightness down on the Prime. It shudders and ruptures, bits of debris flying everywhich way. The Archon lets out a grievous roar, clearly distraught over his close ally's death. He charges at you with a leap onto the hull, swinging massive Shock Swords. If even one of them were to hit you, the Arc damage alone would be enough to vaporize you. The is gonna be a Battle of Blades. You draw yours once more(inventory swaps when convenient), and begin blocking and dodging the Archons fury, dancing across the metal plating. But his rage made him misstep, and your strike swings a mortal blow. The Archon falls to his knees, and collapses, Ether spilling out in great wisps of white smoke from his chest. With no apparent threats left to the Skiff, which is miraculously intact due to your efforts to keep it that way, you assess what little damage did occur. Minor damage leaves the guns offline, but the rest seems alright. You climb in, and begin trying to figure out how to fly such an alien creation. The text on the consoles don't make sense to you but if you get back with it the City might make good use of it, if not the Cryptarchs. New tech and alien tech and Golden Age tech, pretty much anything that wasn't sticks and stones was all wanted by someone anyways, good Glimmer if you found them. You flee from the Ketch, knowing you only dealt superficial damage to that particular House, as there would always be someone else to fill the empty roles. A new Kell, a new Archon, and a new Prime Servitor would quickly be scavenged from the dead and mantled on the living. This House wasn't even a Great House either, just a minor House skulking between rocks hoping to feed off of anything that comes their way. These Fallen were more feral than the Great Houses, all of which still had some shred of honor and dignity. But you lived to see another fight, and that is enough for now. Your journey to the Jupiter-Io Flux Tube will have to wait for little while. You fly to the nearest planet, which is currently Mars. No good, too many Cabal. You change direction towards an outpost located in the Asteroid Belt; The Reef. The Awoken already know you by your exploits so gaining entry is no problem. Selling Fallen tech to a people who already specialize in Fallen tech? Bad Glimmer, find someone else. But a new ship is needed anyways. Good thing your account is already full of Glimmer. You make the landing, and set the Skiff to autopilot, or at least what you think is autopilot. Once you have a new ship the Skiff should follow in tow. You purchase one, though not shiny still quite rugged and durable, which is far more important in the wilderness of stars than any good paintjob. On your way back to Earth, your scanners detect another Guardian's distress signal, on the moon and deep below the ground. It's faint, and cuts out frequently, but Ghost picks up the lock anyways. Do you continue on your way to sell the Skiff and whatever Fallen weaponry/gear in on board, possibly losing the Guardian in the process? Or do you stop to save the imperiled Guardian possibly losing your unprotected limited spoils while underground? Find out next time....ON AHAMKARA BALL Z!!!

I also dont like the jumping the same shit over and over, AKA the raid. I have explored all around every planet, i hope they will give the moutains some easter eggs.
-
Edited by ASASINSQRL: 9/3/2016 11:57:43 PMYeah. Like. We need to explore the whole galaxy, visiting endless planets, with alien races, animals to categorize, and resources to plunder! We could even name what we discover! And when we get to the center of the galaxy we unlock a new galaxy to explore!
What? Someone already did this? It's not fun? Oh. Shit.
-
Oh my god yeah
-
1 ReplySounds like you want The Elder Scrolls VI: Destiny.
-
2 RepliesI do think the story should involve more of the lore and allow us to explore where some of that comes from but in no way do I think it should be like "No Man's Sky". It was designed as a loot based shooter and it should stay that way
-
I get what you mean. I would like alot more open world stuff like exploring more of earth even visiting a hometown for your gimmick. I would love to make crota's ascendent realm an explorable place or explore the vault of glass and explore lore in game and have all these amazing little secrets and easter eggs. I would love for exploration in game. When i was kindergaurdian i loved exploring the secrets of the cosmodrome and seeing what i could do. Now only patrol i really do is to level up equipment if i have no motes, court of oryx, or have a mission or bounty that requires me to patrol
-
I think it should be more about shooting different shit over and over again. With different places and different bosses. Not just responded same shit. If that's what you mean. If you mean I have to walk further to shoot the same shit count me out.
-
3 RepliesI hope it's like the original E3 trailer. See those mountains over there. You can go there! None of this invisible death walls
-
3 RepliesWhy on earth do you think this is a good idea? The games point isn't exploration it's about the loot.
-
I would like to have the ability to explore more of the story.
-
Agreed, there should be an exploration element to the game
-
3 RepliesIn addition to this, Ive always wanted them to replace the "Sparrow" spot with a "Vehicles" spot. Replace a sparrow with a Pike. H*** YEAH. Or a heavy pike. Or an exotic tank. (Only the ridables on moon & mars). Maybe add a sword + shield, bow & arrow, or lance and shield (based off classes; S&W- Titan, B&A- Hunter; L&S- Warlock)
-
Edited by PR4X1S: 9/3/2016 1:15:44 PMMORE Exploration would be good but not so it's like fallout, just more stuff to find instead of endless empty halls with the occasional same spawning enemies. The idea would have to be balanced well I thought mass effect did this well.
-
Multiplayer only. No more suckass story.
-
1 ReplyThis isnt -blam!-ing no man sky
-
14 RepliesEdited by ArticularAlloy: 9/2/2016 4:00:56 PMIt's a FIRST PERSON SHOOTER. You weirdos who want to do all these things other than SHOOT sound like complete dickheads. Go play something else, clearly you guys shouldn't be playing a shooter.
-
89 RepliesMore focus on the lore and pve, less focus on pvp. Pvp is ruining this game.
-
Honestly, I would imagine Destiny 2's "Orbit" to be more of a free roam. You fly your ship yourself to whichever planet you're trying to go to. Occasionally dog fights in space, and even deserted ships with loot. Nothing too crazy, just enough to keep it interesting. Social spaces should be the only safe zones. Also, there should be a "fly straight to tower" option from each planet. Not vice verse, so it encourages people to fly to each planet and explore space
-
2 RepliesNo Guardian's Sky. GOTY, 2018
-
Edited by Elitespear: 9/3/2016 2:27:09 AMWhat it needs: Clan and social functionality (they should just copy warframe there tbh) Better customization Actual open world areas Stop making everything terrible because "people use them a lot" A consistent loot system and working economy Then the game would be good.
-
You're right. Destiny has too much shooting. In D2, the whole game should be sitting around a table, negotiating a peace treaty with the other races.
-
"-blam!- that your getting 10% of Destiny 2 for the 1st 6 months and then $40 dlcs whenever we feel like it for the next 3 years." -Bungie
-
Give us the universe in NMS, but fill it with fallen cabal vex hive taken whatever, and let us fight. Let us explore. LET US PUSH BACK THE DARKNESS AND RECLAIM THE UNIVERSE! And if you would throw in some quests every now and then, that would be cool too.
-
Yea, make it just like No Man's Sky
