Make a clever weapon name
Bungie has a lot of clever weapon names (don't believe me? Check all of [url=https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/210508335/0/0]these[/url]). Why not come up with some of your own? Make them as obscure and pop cultish as you want. Don't forget the flavortext! Here are some starters:
The Master C117 "For the law was given through You; grace and truth came through Him."- An obvious Halo reference.
The H8 Hangman "Justice delivered without dispassion is always in danger of not being justice."- Try and guess this one
On The Fringe "There are times when the only choices you have left are bad ones."- A Fringe quote by Philip Broyles

I can imagine it having some beautiful black sleek design with small dots like stars scattered around it leading toward the soft gold bayonet at the front. Mmmmmmmm. Sniper Rifle: Name: Hammer-Forge-x777 "I have so much power." Reference: [spoiler]This weapon is a reference to pre-nerf Sunbreakers, as only a certain sniper rifle could kill them in one headshot while their super was active. The "777" is a reference to Bungie, and their nerf to Sunbreakers.[/spoiler]

Reference: [spoiler]The name is a reference to the Valve game Team Fortress 2's Heavy. He says in his "Meet the Team" video, "...it takes 400,000 dollars to fire this gun for twelve seconds." The fact that that the weapon is a machine gun is also a call back to the origin of the quote; the Heavy was talking about a minigun.[/spoiler]

JJE.1945 - "I say we line 'em all up, and gun 'em all down." - Cayde-6 The "JJE" stands for "judge, jury, and executioner" to go along with the law theme that some weapons already have (it's also my favorite). The "1945" is a reference to the Nuremburg Trials. The flavor text itself is a lyric from a song by the Transplants, but also alludes to Winston Churchill's preference to execute the accused rather than hold a trial that he considered to bring the law into disrepute. I attributed the flavor text to Cayde because it just seems like something he would say, but there isn't any lore reason for attributing it to him.
