TLW should have been left in year one. Gun is still way too strong. Still the most used gun in trials. Gun takes no skill to use. Just spam the trigger and don't aim. Damage needs to be reduced.

Yea, just remove all exotics from the crucible, they are way too OP for you guys to use

6 RepliesI think the only way to balance it is to make it fire full auto when hip fired only. And increase base stability to make it more accurate when hip fired. It will still be strong but hard to master. Powerful guns are hard to use in almost any fps games. Hard risk, hard reward. A good example is colovances duty and its analog. On paper, it's the best weapon in the game but it's hard to master.

Going to go ahead and leave this here for you https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/209927640/0/0

Have you read the patch notes lately? That gun's hip fire damage was nerfed ages ago. While the Last Word is very strong in close to medium ranges it can no longer 3 shot to the body or 2 shot to the head. It usually takes me the whole magazine to kill one person. I also find that weapons like the grasp of malok and hawksaw are much more reliable and easy to use. (If you are going to pull the whole you have a 1.01 kd thing let me tell you that no body cares and just cause I die to lag and suicides 75% of the time doesn't mean I have zero skill)
-
2 RepliesLord high fixer/eyasluna can out gun it.
-
You obviously never used it, because you have no idea what you are talking about.
-
No skill? Have you used the damn thing? I wish I was good with it.

3 RepliesHave you used this gun recently? 1-hip fire doesn't hit shit 80% of the time 2-no one just picks it up and immediately starts destroying people in fusion rifle range 3-stop complaining and figure out how to counter it, and if you can't counter it then join em

Edited by Ness: 7/27/2016 3:57:28 PMWhile The Last Word might seem a bit frustrating to go up against if you don't know how to counter it well, it certainly isn't OP, and it doesn't need nerfs. Right now, The Last Word requires more skill to use than it ever did before. It's effectiveness plummets at medium range, so much so that you actually have to use the gun differently than you might be used to. Now, the most effective way to use it is to tap the trigger while ADS. In the vast majority of your engagements, you shouldn't hold the trigger down since this makes the bloom effect make a considerable amount of shots to miss. To say that The Last Word doesn't take skill is a bit insulting for the people who have learned how to master it in year 2. I also saw you say that TLW gives you a damage buff when hip firing. Just to clarify, it no longer does this. And as for the damage reduction, this is unnecessary since it would likely make the weapon even weaker than most legendary handcannons. It makes no sense to me to punish someone who uses an exotic in their primary slot. I find that TLW is fine the way it is. It isn't too weak, and it certainly isn't over powered.

The gun is also extremely hard to master. If you took the time to learn how to properly use it you too would be destroying everyone with it. Tlw does not need a nerf. It's range stat is basically zip

Edited by Length Wit Some Girth: 7/27/2016 7:02:44 AMMore like just holding down 1 button instead of spamming trigger. But you have to imagine what a real fan fire gun must hit like, a -blam!-ing truck. That's what last word is, a -blam!-ing truck. Nothing wrong with that, I just think we need more ranged weapons to somewhat compete with tlw. Cause right now the "meta" is get all in ya grill with last word. Aside from people hardscoping 1 lane, bungie should buff up some range & damage on a few archetypes to counter tlw. I'm sick of being utterly destroyed by the gun fast asf.

1 ReplyI guess compensating for weapon kick and phantom bullets is an unimaginably easy thing to do. You have summoned me.

Amén amén amén

1 ReplyWell people, you heard it hear. Bullets hurt and any gun that fires then should've been left in year one. Let's give OP 1,000 dislikes

Uninstall

7 RepliesMoans about last word has Universal remote equipped.... All righty then
-
8 RepliesI agree, at pulse rifle range, it out guns me! Makes no damn sense! I aim at heads too... So for them to 1-2 me from a PULSE RIFLE range is ridiculous. I agree with a NERF to the damage on that hand cannon.
-
It needs a nerf to damage to compensate for it's fan fire perk. Most overused weapon because it kills FAST. Nerf it.

14 RepliesEdited by MEGAJEFF: 7/26/2016 7:18:43 AMAn if I can kill you by spamming the trigger whilst not aiming...then reducing the damage isn't really gonna do much is it? What your really saying is that someone had you right off in a match an you went bat shit nuts, smashed your pad against the inside wall of your trailer, an then legged it to the forum so you can moan about how shit at pvp you are. I want you to equip this weapon. Then go into pvp an spam that trigger. An don't aim. remember that. DON'T aim. See what happens...

14 RepliesEdited by MEGAJEFF: 7/26/2016 7:08:42 AMSpam the trigger an don't aim? You'd end up looking at the sky. You're talking shit.
