Just curious because the shard in the cutscene after you beat Oryx looks most like the Void one, but I feel like the guardian wouldn't get just another Void Sword (Dreadfang) later on when they already have one, so my next thought is Arc, because of the description. What do you guys think?

It depends on what you put into it

It's a choice.

Each sword exhibits a power of Willbreaker, Dreadfang is entirely different, but all are techincally canon

Edited by Trigger BladeX: 7/27/2016 7:22:42 AMI figured space magic is why there are 3 of them. How to explain this space magic: Eris probably tried to break Willbreaker, pun not intended, and she separated it into 3 peices, but after doing so each piece regenerated into a new Willbreaker. Now she has 3 of the same thing and gives them to 3 guardians. Remember: the max number in the story missions are 3. You can use this "3 separate guardians" logic to explain a few of the [repeated content here] that other quest send us out to do.
Except, the NTTE one with Atheon. In actuality we probably just walked in shifted through the remains and left.
1 ReplyI think it's choice. They purify the fragment and then the timeline splits in three, each path having the guardian choose to infuse the fragment with a different element.
-
5 RepliesWell, Dreadfang, Bolt-caster, and Saladin's Axe cover the Arc/Sol/Void triad, so I guess that works OK.

Technically all are Canon, but it depend on which element you choose. Most likely it would depend on which Guardian is the "chosen one" as they would most likely only use their newfound power against Oryx

That part gets defused of the Darkness of millions of years, then infused based on your subclass's elemental damage and the resources you collect. They're all canon

Edited by Mr Kenno: 7/26/2016 10:29:03 PMWe dont get our swords directly from will breaker do the quest again. I think you'll find we don't actually collect that piece Besides eris takes it to replace her rock

The shard is probably just darkness or something, and it becomes elemental when infused with the planetary materials.
