Bungie is almost saying "Play as a titan"
[spoiler]I don't think these abilities are Overpowered, I just think that Nerfs are not going to fix or balance this game. I'm just pointing Bungie's logic. I love to play as a titan, I love to skate, and I love shotguns. Peace. [/spoiler]
They're nerfing hunters and warlocks(for the third time) and you can still skate with max armor plus max recovery. You can still destroy everyone with 7 hammers(with a buffed blast radius).
You can run around with a overshield being immune to damage.
You can 1hk with shoulder charge.
You have the only super in the game that doesn't have a counter to.
Your melee ability is almost 1hk... But guess what? It needs more range Bungo!!!!
Your weapons of light can turn your sniper into a 1hk weapon... But guess what? BUFF THE BUBBLE OR I QUIT!!!!
You have lightning grenades and the 1hk incendiaries.

1 ReplyI don't get it. . The amount of players saying hunters are dead ? Yes things have been nerfed. Things have been buffed. . In both cases maybe not all for the better but I'm still using a hunter. Same as my other characters. Still using the same weapons as well. . Apart from the initial silhouette opposition glitches etc. . Everything is dying as normal for me. . I'm not condoning the changes they have made. . But people just need to learn to adapt instead of jumping up and down and complaining and crying. After all its all of that complaining in the forums that causes the changes in the first place . . . .

No offense to destiny tryhards who aren't good at PvP but think they know better. They don't. To be good at PvP you have to understand the game and the players, understanding weaker players as well as stronger players is important to becoming better at the game, players who are weaker may have a grasp of how PvP can be balanced and fair but they will never practice being at the top consistently due to poor decision making in game, many times that translates to their perception of how to make PvP better. I'm basically saying I trust experts more than the average skilled idealist. The game doesn't need to be ultra-competitive and super balanced, it just needs to be fun to play and accommodate all skill levels so when you invest your time in PvP there's a layer of personal growth in skill level whilst understanding that the game is chaotic fun. The game is neither in Year 2 compared to Year 1. We need to make the argument of 'I've improved so much since last week through a process of learning and increasing my own skill' as opposed to 'last weeks patch has made the game easier for me to not die, thanks Bungie' a valid prospect.

8 RepliesSunbreaker needed the buff. Even after the buff it's still outclassed by the striker. I play all 9 subclasses though, so I feel for the hunters. Bladedancer didn't need to be nerfed. It was balanced the way it was.

With bones escaping out of a "hopeless" situation is easier than with the Titan's jump. A Titan is quick getting to the front, but in combat a hunter has an advantage once engaged.
